I'm a Bard main, I play 3 supps and 3 dps on my main roster. I agree with everything you said about Scrapper, its outdated, and mediocre in concept. That being said, I love my Scrapper, not because its cool or broken, but because it is reliable. It's always the first DPS I raise after I do a new raid on my main. To me It is the easiest, most comfortable DPS class to learn a fight when progging. I like having a reliable DPS capable of carrying mechanics because I have the stagger, Weak Point, movility, hell, even if the supp dies I have no problems because I have no mana xD and I'm tanky as hell. I know people say Scrapper is boring and maybe it is, but sometimes I just want to focus on learning the patterns, doing mecs and not worry about rotation, cooldowns, etc.
Yep thats exactly what happened to Zerk - all the requested changes or fixes of the class were just swapped to Slayer while Zerk got some weird rework thats trying to pretending fixing the problems but not rly...
Sounds like massive copium. Currently, mayhem is one of the strongest ‘hit masters’ and few little things come close to a fully set up max spec salvation burst window. Not even a 6s punisher build with full lv 10s.
You identified key problem of scrapper rework, cuz players already have accessories and need to buy new ones/cut new stones. problem is engraving system so annoying to change, need to spend like 500k+ for a whole new set. the copium now is if they ever remove/rework entropy set they will merge ambush master+master brawler into 1 engraving, then you can do head/back attack all the same. After that maybe they can make additional changes to make scrapper more like breaker.
This is what I don't like about the different genders of the same classes not being 100% identical. The newer option is pretty much always going to be a major upgrade and render the older one obsolete if they don't have identical abilities, or at least EXTREMELY similar.
like as a scrapper main seeing breaker trailer and all the gameplay when he was release got me hyped for the character, bad when I compare with scrapper I just feel bad, like everything he has is just better, he has the fucking crit on the spec build that we want for fucking 100 years, he has cool animation like that one blue skill that hit as a truck and is beautiful, he had the sounds as well cool as heel sounds he has better engraving setup,like scrapper got the rework but it's just not enough the new identity had no good interaction with the engravings like paralysis immune for taijutsu and just 20% atackspeed for shock, it feel like we only left with the leftovers of breaker, and they made the rework with it, as if they were recycling comparing with the previews character that got reworked like glavier,deadeye,sharp,wardancer etc, the scrapper rework feel like the worst rework ever, of course she got more damage some better animation for shock but it's not enough, like she will get better then she is now, We deserve a more elaborate rework, they finished the design of the breaker and with what was left they reworked the scrapper, but they also didn't change the engravings enough like it's fun to look at the shock engraving for example, like it's a 2 line engraving KEKW get this 20% more damage and 20% more atackspeed on your z, no interaction with ult no interaction with the duration no interaction with the shock metter as well we only got this on tripod outdated character, and for taijutsu it's even worst get this 45% damage on stamina skill and paralysis immune on Z like the most interaction scrapper has with his new identity come with the tripod not from engraving like they could had add more interacion and cooler effects, rework the critical blow as well like look at the wardancer rework, it's just cooler cooler animation she got the dragon that scrapper want's it, she got better animation for the swifness build as well she is just better both are old character but wardancer rework was well made scrapper wasn't just shiba character with shiba animation shiba engravings

I never really liked flashy classes Cant really explain it, just never was the type of player that picks new classes or chatacters even on league of legends afyer pyke came out i dont think I ever tried playing any character that god released beyond pyke(obv aram and that new BR mode is different). Heck if not for the free powerpasses events id probably keep playing with mg OG first 6 characters. I picked scrapper because i didnt see much of them around valtan era and with very minimal knowledge about other classes, i didnt care much But now its different, when i heard scrapper gets changed i was excited but not anymore Feels like scrapper is being pushed to play by certain engraves and certain crit/swift ratio compared to what we have/had(eu here, taijutsu)
All new classes must be broken op cus thats a main reason why you will make them and swipe more (slayer, souleater, now breaker) *they didnt make aero op and they lose on her so they did their homework on the next ones. We will see in next balance patch how much they will nerf him once they have milked the players enough (ex. punisher slayer).

I remember the main feedback was "make scrapper either front attacker or hit master" and they basicly said "hey we did it just not in the class you asked for"
I bet they did all the animation updates and skill coefficients as a balance for Scrapper and then decided "Lets take all these balances and create a male scrapper" $$$
