I have some information on Alyssa!
Last year, (2020, I'm not sure what month or day though) Alyssa went and hanged out and played bedwars with BoomerNA (Who is friends with many Dream SMP members). In that stream there were many things revealed on her absence on the Dream SMP.
Alyssa had explained that because she had to get surgery on her stomach it made her hard for her to get onto the SMP since she was busy taking care of herself and having to do surgery. And soon once she had been done getting surgery and recovering from it, she had noticed that the IP had changed and soon figured out that the discord had gotten linked. She didn't ask Dream directly on discord because she didn't want to bother him and the rest of her friends because of it.

To be honest, the fact that we're covering her being gone and asking about her warms my heart bc even though a lot of us get into the SMP fandom bc of big streamers like Tommy, Tubbo, Dream, George, Techno, etc., we genuinely care about all the characters, even the minor ones.
to the DreamSMP fans, to me it seems, no one is a minor character.
Uh, please don't say character. Alyssa is not just a minor character or whatnot in the lore, but a real person. I think it's important to be reminded that this lore is consuming everyone and it shouldn't.

For people who want allysa in the lore -
Theory - Alyssa lost all her canon lives during the initial disc war hence she isn't part of the lore anymore
I’m gonna cry if it would get in actual lore
I hope she eventually comes back to the smp and maybe do some lore, or just goof around like old times, or build some stuff. I also hope she's doing okay because I think she has so much in her plate that she can't play in the dream smp anymore
It's very funny because Lore wise c!Allysa just started seeing drama happening in the server, said 'yeah I'm not doing that' and continues to live peacefully on the server until this very day.
Alyssa is a good definition of a well done background character, I'd wanted know more about her.

I heard that the Dream SMP server changed IPs, and Alyssa was too nervous to ask Dream for the new IP thinking that she'd bother him. So she decided to not come back, but she's still good friends with everyone and stuff. Wether this is true or not is not really our business
The other day I was playing on a hunger games server and Alyssa was in my game. So I guess she went back to the PVP community.

That’s kinda sad, the fact that she thinks simply asking Dream for the IP would “bother him” kinda shows that they’re probably not as close as what we see them to be, unless Alyssa just didn’t want the attention and didn’t bother to come back and just had to spin an excuse.

I’ve low key missed Alyssa a lot. I joined the following of the Dream SMP around May of 2020 (so I guess I’m what they call an OG lol), and it was always funny to see her and The Dream team just having fun and hanging out!
I hope that she sees a return to the server, as not a lot of people have even heard of her at all!!!
Wow I started watching dreamo SMP around july
I started watching the Dream SMP in May as well, so when it started.
ive been watching the dream smp when tommy joined bc i had been watching him before the smp
I watched the smp from the beginning and much preferred the early days I didn’t watch much after lmanberg was blown up
I've also been there since around that time because I really liked watching Bad's video's and streams (and he was like the 4th person to join), but didn't really get into it until a few months later
Awww man I I miss those days of Alyssa being in the dream smp before all the lore... but all that matters is that Alyssa is still great friends with dream and is doing okay even if she isn’t part of the lore or streams

Just letting you know that I noticed, and I already prefer it over your old video style.
I like both, but this feels very engaging and more eventful!
Theory:
Alyssa is some sort of goddess. She can see the future and found out that Dream will be in prison, and since she is such a good friend to the dream team and to dream mostly, she wanted to help Dream. She sacrificed not being in the server and became inactive to attempt to make people forget about her. If they would forget her, people wouldn’t know her that much and wouldn’t have any bad experiences with her. Meaning she would be no threat to anyone. Thinking she might be a new player means that they might think she never met Dream, therefore does not want to help him escape prison. But Alyssa was planning this for months, before she became inactive, she farmed to get items she would need to let Dream free, planned every outcome possible and made sure there would be no trace of her.
She might not be a goddess of seeing the future but maybe she has watched everyone’s movements. To learn how they act and fight, if she would be to know this, she would have the biggest advantage yet.

It's a survival server heavily focused on this rp and lore thing. I get what you mean by normal server like a survival server. Good times.
I kinda feel like Alyssa was excluded from the group so she kinda went off to do her own thing until she kind of became invisible and just gave up on it. Considering one clip where she was completely forgotten to be a part of the group. It may just be me looking back at my own abundant amount of past experiences of being excluded and left out, but thats just kinda the vibe i get.

Alyssa is an underrated member in the Dream SMP. I feel like most people who've just joined the fandom don't know about her and most people who've been in the fandom for so long have forgotten her.

im a munchymc player and i can confirm that she still plays, She used to own a clan called "juice" then it got disbanded after a while. I've seen her on a few times after the DSMP
İ actually love alyssa and what she used to do on the server. İ think the best thing to do would be give her the space and time and then let her decide if she wants tp come back or not. İ would love for her to be in the lore and have more interactions with the members like ranboo,niki,wilbur,quackity,tommy,techno and so on, i also feel like she would fit into any story arc but thats my opinion.

I believe the reason she said she wasnt gonna be active was something along mental health, life outside of minecraft, or not being too interested anymore. Im not completely sure but i know people back when she made the tweet a while ago, made videos about it explaining what was happening and stuff. Don't take my word completely for it but its along those lines of why.

Her twitter is @Alyssawasfound and she has posted her face on it, she’s extremely pretty and also hasn’t updated it in a while. We also have heard her voice from other streams like George’s a long time ago (pretty high pitched) but no she herself doesn’t stream.
