I am writing from an European country with a regime history, not long ago, I was born during it. I never understood how he could be elected in the first place. Then I think at the divine plan that allows people and things to happen for a higher good and that everything is taken care of, that we learn our lessons. One thing is for sure for my country, those who believed in that regime are still leading the country by a different name, and they are not disappearing overnight. He seems to have some sort of power to bring out the worst in people. His followers seem to be under some kind of spell where they lose all objectivity and can see no wrong in anything he does. He really is like a cult leader in that way.

The only problem I have with this explanation is that are you suggesting that the opposition are not evil in a sense, because to me they are all extremely questionable with their morality. I can't see how any of them have 'morality'
@Rich__86 This earthly experience is not designed for perfection, thus no one here is perfect, nor is it required here however when some embrace the extremes of evil and we support that, that is a problem for our spiritual path.
@myndefromatoz I'm not a Trump supporter in any way. However, I really do not think that the other side is any better. I truly believe the same level of evil is incorporated on both sides. I do not think Trump and his party are anymore ...or less evil than the other politicians on the opposing side. What we really need is a complete revamp on how we govern people and society. A complete revolution. Sadly I think human nature doesn't deal well with the power that comes with having that much control over others. Hopefully we as a species will wake up and realise that there is a better way.
