I paused at that youtube drama reddit post to read out of curiosity and quickly realised my mistake when i read that Kevin got backlash for supporting Hogwarts Legacy. I completely forgot there were terminally online obsessed lunatics that were trying to boycott that awesome game for literally no reason at all lmao
I remember vividly how insane the reaction to that game was.
It did lead to me viewing one of the most unintentionally hilarious images I’ve ever seen though. Someone boycotting the game edited an image of hogwarts to resemble a WW2 era photograph with the nawzi font and a Wehrmacht soldier added in. I want to find it again because it was so unbelievably funny.

I hate the fact that people think it's wrong to make jokes about certain topics, we want to be treated equally, and if we can't be joked about then no one should be and then comedy would be dead
wish more people are open-minded like you. others can't discern jokes from reality. that's been a reoccuring theme for the past decade.

You have to keep in mind that these people spend their lives on reddit and twitter, meaning they get no real outside interaction with actual breathing people and most likely have been radicalized by online drama and identity politics. A lot of (i'd say the majority imo) LGBTQ+ people who have an outside life think the way you do about being made fun of and being seen as equals.

My early 20s were the hardest part of my life, mentally like depression, social problems, and lack of motivation to change my life. I'm 25 now and made a bunch of progress, and I've changed a lot, but motivation in some areas is still hard sometimes.
That's me at early 20's. I'm 30+ now. If something else happens or you never get a break or can't break out, get help. Just talking about it and hearing others' view helps. I found out I have OCPD (similar to OCD) that way and also got a fantastic specialist and I've also worked a lot with myself, still doing so.
I can't find motivation for you, because that's the hardest part. My motivation to the core is: Leave the world a better place than when you found it (based off a free roaming law here in Norway). And basically try spread goodness and healthy ideals.
Speaking of, being outdoors is motivating. Any sense of mastery is. It doesn't help permanently against nihilism but it gives meaning and contentment. And it's healthy.
If you still have the possibility to be financially supported by relatives, try see if you can get a kayak or canoe or something else (like a dirt bike) and the starting lessons for it. Or even sailing or maybe climbing. You shouldn't feel remorse for _not_ doing so, but I am 100% certain it will be rewarding after the first learning steps.
