Thanks dude, this download is notoriously difficult to download and install, but to be honest, compared to mounting images for most stuff back in the day, this was ez pz. Alls you had to do was unpack a few zips and run third part software, big whoop. if this is what people consider difficult then i suppose most of you fear the waters of the pirate bay ;)
Pirate bay used to be the shit back in the day 😂 install guides are engrained in me so the more I can do of these, the happier I am. A lot of people struggle with following instructions, so If I can do anything to help make it simpler, I try my best to do so!

Ngl the monotone and lack of enthusiasm in this tutorial actually made this entertaining, like what do you mean I don't need 6 versions of the same file, what do you mean I can't send you my crash files?
😂😂 I've done a lot of tutorials in my life, I know what to expect within the comments, if I knew more about code if gladly help with the crash reports, but as it stands it's simply a waste of time for people to ask me for further help as I got no clue, hope it worked for you!
I wasn't paying proper attention at first and thought that the full gamma install was done as soon as the green bar was full and i tried running the game and nothing worked lol, thanks for the vid

@@itzKEYOS yeah it works fine bro 👍I just wasn't paying attention in the console thingy on the installer. Mine never said blah blah something is done installing, I just closed it the second the bar was full lmao

I followed the guide up until where you select Anomaly DX11-AVX in MO and testing it ,and it brings up a loading screen and then just fails to load and an error message plays.
I am not getting any information on what went wrong in MO, what do I do now?
I can only suggest reinstalling it as idk what causes half the issues with this mod, pr you can always seek help on the discord
hey. thanks for the quality guide. just wanted to let you know that there's a new version of the gamma launcher available (6.0). i was able to get to the main menu with the old launcher, but ctd when it couldn't find a weapon skin afaik. thanks again and take care!
Yes, I'm well aware there's a new version of gamma. GROK updates it too frequently for me to consistently make a how to guide on GAMMA. As much as I'd love to make another guide, it's simply rinse and repeat with a slight change to certain instructions.

where can i go to get the latest launcher, im having the same issue after following this guide
When i go to the link for the addons it only comes up with RC3 and not GAMMA-addons

so heres my issue....ive followed the discord and many of the tutorial videos..... and in my Gamma folder, in the groks installer folder, there is no Gamma installer...just a gamma launcher 4.3.0... and when i run it as admin or regularly, a small black exe screen will start and then stop. Nothing else happens after that. I've excluded the folders and files. But nothing. Either way there is no gamma installer.... anyone know anything about this? Oh also, im not blocked on moddb either.

I am not seeing the one file "Gamma Addons Download" on Gofile..all that is there is the RC3 files
why does the gofile page not have the ADDOn download only showing Gamma RC3
Mine never created the "gamma shortcut". I've reinstalled gamma multiple times, not sure what kind of magic you people claim but not possible.
I have 336 mods active, I press run with DX11-AVX and nothing happens

yeah, you gotta go to where the installer is not open the installer but the file location, find mod pack_patches drag those into your anomaly folder and it should work
I;ve did every step twice, but I get the same result. When I press Run in Mo2 the Anomaly miniscreen pop-up and after a few seconds I hear an crash sound but no logs/ errors. In Mo2 I have the following messages : "Profile default does not exist", "Picked profile G.A.M.M.A instead", "the selected profile default does not exist. The profile G.A.M.M.A will be used instead"

Theres no Gamma Addons Link in the mirror link anymore. Just RC.7 links. Idk where the other links went but, I guess this is the end of my line lol. Blin
Dude I can't get this to work for the life of me. I can download Anomaly but when I get to the final stages of installing GAMMA it just doesn't work. It doesn't pop up, or even load inside MO2. Immediately crashes before even reaching a main menu.

I've followed the instructions step by step and when I open Stalker from the mod organizer the game won't start. It makes a notification sound then nothing happens.

whenever i start up gamma it loads me into anomaly any reasons why, i prob did something wrong
not launching showing loading and then shuts down automatically .
Followed the steps exactly ,I didnt get the shortcut on desktop and when I try to launch it in dx11-avx as you said base anomaly launches not gamma , also adding the shortcut manualy with mod organizer adds a anomaly launcher shortcut on desktop , Im stuck , help needed

@@jarroberts27 It turned out that not all files were downloaded because the servers were overloaded at the time I was trying to install it , , there is a Modb status on the installer where you can check
I'm just getting a hard start, doesnt really want to work with nahimic.

i activated all mods but its not working i dont get this whole gamma thing do i need all mods? or only the ones that are called GAMMA ?
Client downloadlink ist not working for me (GAMMA RC3) tried deleting my cache, tried different browsers. nothing worked.

Thanks for the tutorial. The setup guide on the gamma discord is missing a step that you show and gave me a massive headache
They may have accidentally removed a step? I’m not sure as I followed their written instructions to make the guide so if people needed written steps they could also use the discord 😂
Unless you’re talking about the video they have linked? The creator may have simply forgotten it, mistakes happen.

I’ve gotten all the way to where I can create a new game, but on the loading screen it crashes. Any idea why? I have tried turning all mods on and creating my own slurry of mods.
I have fast internet but chrome download speed is slow, where else can I download this mod or how can I fasten up my download on chrome
Where is the gamma add-ons download. It's not on the Paige that the link sends you too anymore it's only the RC3

a shortcut doesn't get created for me, i have to go into the MO2 manually.
Ive tried this all day to get it working but It only ever says 231 out of the 358 mods are active, my friend got it first try and we did the same shit. I just wanna play cool game...

You can create a shortcut on your own, also if you update it should create one

hey so when i launch it the start up thing says Stalker GAMMA but then when the main menu loads it says its back to regular Stalker Anomaly, can anyone help me out?

when launching from Mod Organizer I get - Could not find fsltx file: *(null)* Check your working directory. Anyone else?
I did everything but did not get a shortcut after the GAMMA full install. The installer said there was a shortcut installed but I can't find it. Don't really know what to do from here.
Never mind. I just re-opened the GAMMA installer and launched MO2 from there and then created a desktop shortcut for GAMMA. Thank you for the great walkthrough.

So, I got gamma to load up and can start a new game however when I try to load in it crashes...any fix? The main menu seems to work fine.
yeah don´t work anymore after everything and i click start it starts the icon anamaly and after 10 sec it just closes it self like nothing happened

the game does not open, I did all the steps and when the game starts in 'run' it opens launcher ANOMALY and closes.

Guys help, my mod organizer disappeared and I can't execute the game, what can I do?

When pressing full gamma instalation it gets to "Soundscape Overhoul" mod which is at the very beginning, the launcher freezes completely and it seems to be freezed for two hours. It says "instructions solving" at the end, I tried running it again but it always freezes at the same spot and stays there. Any help?
From what I’ve read the installer is known to freeze at certain points. I think there’s a fix for it somewhere on the discord

I don't know if you're still responding but when I open MO2, the left side with all the mods is empty on my end and when I run it, it just runs the default anomaly version. I would like to note that the part in your video where a desktop shortcut is created is not what happened to mine. There was no shortcut I could click on and I have a hard time finding out where I went wrong. Any help would be appreciated
I would recommend trying to do a clean install, I’m not sure where you may or may not have missed a step, etc…
Unless the devs know something, you could always ask around in the discord 👍🏻

@@aaronferguson9328 Yes! I ended up getting help in the discord server and found out what my problem was so definitely ask. Not all the people there are as nice or helpful as others but as long as they seem trustworthy, it should be okay. I wish I could tell you what I specifically did but they practically held my hand through the whole process so sorry I can't help anymore than that. Good luck though

sadly does not work after multiple ttempts, keep getting the error Cannot open Ini error, even when I change the instance from Portable to stalker. same errors. A real pity as I was really looking forward to playing this.
Have you tried joining the discord and looking for a fix on there?
I followed this guide to the T and read the pinned comment, and this doesn't work. It just shows that it's launching Anomaly, and not GAMMA. Little faith that anyone will see this, but hopefully I can get a little help.
Have you tried re-downloading gamma data and reinstalling gamma data? Some of your mods probably didn't install correctly, does your active mods count add up with the count on their discord?
I’m trying to download the Gamma files, does it usually say it’s gonna take 20 hours for both of them? I have pretty decent download speeds
There’s multiple mirrors you can download from within that link, try another one and see if it’s quicker, it all depends on server load and your own connection speeds, there might still be a magnet link for a torrent as well on the discord.

how did you get yours to work, mine didnt install the shortcut
i failed twice before doing it right. haha. It gets confusing with 2 folders. you want one with the gamma install folder that has what you downloaded and the second folder must contain the updated 1.5.2 anomaly vanilla. then when you install you select the folder with anomaly in it as the main folder in the wizard. @@reaper417

Download gamma data and reinstall gamma data, if that doesn't work look for help in the discord
Whenever i try to launch anomaly by its self withouth gamma its says: Cannot find fsltx file: "null}" Check your working directory and it wont let me open it. Some help would be appreciated

I did everything like you but when I try to run Gamma i get an error prompt :

Just out of curiosity , I see you have winrar witch i also do . Why most of the guides for all apps prefer 7zip ?
Winrar causes more errors for some reason when it comes to these modpacks
when i click "run" on mod organizer it says "mod organizer is locked while the application is running." AnomalyDX11AVX.exe(5660)
You’ll have to get help from the devs in discord, like I said in the video, im not a fix it guy, just a how to install guy
After installing everything, I run the G.A.M.M.A launcher and I get met with an error. "Profile "Default" does not exists. Picked profile 'G.A.M.M.A' instead". When I run the MO it shows the loading window for Stalker Anomaly, not GAMMA, and then will just end. Anyone have a fix for this?
Edit: Found a fix! Copy "appdata", "bin", and "gamedata" from your GAMMA folder (.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches") and paste it into your Stalker Anomaly folder and overwrite the ones here.

I can't Install gamma because no instnace portal window pops up, something I'm doing wrong?
When launching through the mod organizer I get the error "The selected launcher Default does not exist. The profile G.A.M.M.A. will be used instead." Then it does nothing.
As in Mod Organizer doesn’t Launch after? Or no mods are showing up in MO2?
