Good job
Thanks Misheck
If a maca tree grows quickly & is not pruned back, it’s vulnerable to being knocked over or snapped from strong winds, especially if the soil is damp from a lot of rain.
The question is what is the best shape. People generally say having a central leader with branches at around half meter to a meter interval is the shape to go for. However others think a bowl shaped tree is best. I’m pruning my trees to the central leader shape like what is taught on this video.
It is beautiful with the orchard and the snow capped mountain. Good luck with your venture.
Thanks much, appreciated. I think it is wiser to adopt a system that is suitable to your location, in consideration to soil type, windy and climate.
Nice job sir
Thanks, Stephano
very nice
Thank you
My lawn care people were trimming a tree and the branches from the tree fell and broke two big limbs from macadamia tree. What can I put over the exposed trunk area to seal it or protect it this was very close to the base of the tree where it is about 4 feet from ground. Any information is very much appreciated as I will do anything to save the tree. Thank you so much
hi, very sorry, how is it going now?
@@macadamiaAfrica the tree has produced and I am hoping that I can begin proper pruning and care to have it become all it was meant to be. Previous owner did not take care and it was shaded from other larger trees. Have removed surrounding trees to get it to the sun. It has about 7 new branch’s off the bottom of the trunk I guess because of lack of proper care.any videos you can make about the care and pruning would be very helpful
@@MelindasLifeandstyle well congratulations, sure, will make more videos on pruning.
Does some common livestock animal eat its leaves . Is it good idea or bad idea to plant cover crop near macadamia which will be used for free range animals
It is a great idea, when small goats eat new leaves
@@macadamiaAfrica so i need to keep away the goat from macadamia field
Why is the vidro so short?
