He was in a different area of San Jose from 1990 to 1992. There in NY now. A neighbor here went back to San Francisco he was not happy the way it is now and he's in Nashville

If Jose was from out here he wouldn't have been so scared... He basically walked down O'Farrell near Van Ness in the daytime. If he had taken a right on Hyde and a left on Eddy (at night), he would've definitely been served a proper SF beat-down.
Skid Row in LA is way worse, in fact many other cities like NYC Philadelphia New Orleans Baltimore etc...have way worse more dangerous areas than tenderloin
In the future, to be safe (if you don't want to be physically harassed) Try to conceal your camera when walking around the Tenderloin. Don't be so noticeable recording them. Most are doing something illegal as you walk through. Oh, And most are carrying Guns or knives.

I lived in the United Hotel on 6th St. Between Mission & Howard before my daughter was born. I lived in the Eddy Hotel on Eddy between Larkin and Polk until my daughter was 3 (We had a bathroom, but an improvised kitchen), and it was more like a studio appt then a hotel room. Sorry I don't have video, left that hell hole 9 years ago so my kid can have a better life. But, my in-laws still live on Geary and Leavenworth, so I still see the TL on a regular basis.
And Prius? Seriously?! I'm what people would call far right. My only complaint is that you failed to show how big of a shithole SF has become. Go there around the 1st of the month, stand in front of a check cashing place and just be amazed at the drug dealing that is going on. The dealers set up shop there on the first.
