As a Dior, specifically a Lady Dior, lover that was my favorite part seeing you explain the differences (THEY ARE)!! The first bag story has so many layers- I LOVE it!!
I’d love to nominate my own mom! She’s my best friend and the strongest woman I know!! She raised three kids (includes two chaotic boys) all my herself while going through the heartbreak of ending a marriage of almost 30 years. She’s shown me how hard life can hit you and how much stronger you can get back up. I’ve seen almost every side of her and always remember to cherish her and our differences.
Despite all of life’s hardships, she’s persevered through so much physically and emotionally to build a life for our family. And has shown my brothers and I to do the same. I don’t know how someone who has gone through what she has can still go on with life so full of love and optimism. She’s truly my hero!

Coming from culture where I always felt like I have to hide that I am from a single mom family, I love seeing and hearing ppl openly talking about their single parent and appreciating them. I am nominating my mom! My mom is my idol - she is a smart and accomplished lady. Started off as a Chinese immigrant and moved around a lot from Guam to Virginia to California to attend school. She busted her ass studying to become an optometrist. Today, she always tries to ensure that my little brother and I are well taken care of - always cooking dinner every night, making sure we do our homework/doing well at work, cleaning up after us, and treating us out to our favorite things. She was the one who taught me that treating myself once in a while can't hurt. My mom has been a vintage luxury bag collector since she became an optometrist, and she always bought a bag for every big milestone in her life - from her first paycheck, her 40th birthday, and more!

I nominate my niece. She works a full time job and does everything for her kids. She’s recently divorced and does it all on her own. She also works nights in the medical field so she is always available during the day for her 4 kids.
I nominate one of my close friends. She is a nurse and raising 2 kids as a single parent. Props for her on managing working night shifts and making the best to continue to be there for school actividad for her boys. ❤ She would love a designer bag as she never spoils herself.
I’m nominating my mom bc she has done everything for my sister and I. My dad hardly spent time with us so it was all left to my mom. Now that they’re divorced she supports my sister and I by herself. She’s the reason I’m able to have such an amazing life.

I am a single mom for over 10 years now , my son is 14 years and is in full puberty , so sometimes it is a real struggle at this moment.
But one thing what I learned after I became a single mom is to choose for me and myself. And if I am happy, I can make people around me happy!
My dream is to own a dior bag, and working and saving for a one , and hoping I once can buy one!
I nominate my grandma. She was not only dealt with raising my mom and her children on her own, but also raising my siblings and I on her own. She has shown us unconditional love, support, and compassion despite the struggles. She is a very strong, hardworking woman and never puts herself first to treat herself. She loves purses and has never owned anything designer I would love to be the first to gift her one day.
I nominate my mom ☺️ growing up she had me at a very young age with my father not being around so she basically raised me all herself. Coming from the Philippines, there were many hardships when coming to America but she never failed to work hard everyday and made sure my siblings and I were straight. Despite the many challenges she’s faced, she has always persevered.
There are many things to be thankful for but my mother is one hell of an inspiration and molded me into the person I am today :)

I am nominating my mom. Her birthday was May 14 and this year it fall on to the mother's day. She have always been by my side through the years. Ever since my dad died 12 years ago she took over the role of being a mom and dad to us 3 girls. Everything I do, I always dedicate it to my mom. She never get tired of saying, “I’m so proud of you, anak”. She have always been my inspiration. Fun fact, I think my love in collecting purses is because of my mom, I never even knew she loves purses so much until that's all she asked from me whenever I asked her what she wants for a gift. :) I am planning to give her this Dior if ever I get pick.

I'd like to nominate my mum who raised 4 amazing children by herself. Before she had us, she would love to spoil herself with designer bags but hasn't been able to afford them for years. She's the most selfless person I know and I'd love to gift this to her.
Nominating my own mother, she is honestly my biggest supporter and hardest worker I know. My parents were divorced when I was very young but she did the absolute best to spoil me in the best way she knows. I remember her wanting to save money at one point when I was very young so she was renting out one bedroom from someone’s house, but she would spoil me with new pair of shoes and clothes because she knew I liked them 🥺 she is honestly my best friend and I can go to her with any problems. And I can never find this type of love anywhere else

She immigrated to the US with two small girls and she’s given up everything for her children. She has 0 designer pieces because she doesn’t feel like she deserves to wear something “luxury”. I am nominating my mom who raised my two brothers and myself all on her own when my father passed. I was just 9 and she was just 33 when she became a widow. My mom immigrated to the US when she was just 18 from Portugal and rather than moving back home with her kids (where she had family to support) she stayed in NY to try to give her kids more opportunities. My mother is the most kind, considerate and giving person I've ever known and she inspires me every day to do more for the people around me. Because of her, I always strive to be a helper.

I nominate my cousin Sarah who is the mother of two teenage boys on the Autism spectrum, one nonverbal. She also survived breast cancer and is in remission. I remember when she was going through treatment her only concern was that no one could take care of her very special kids the way she knew how and her illness would affect them more than it would her. All mothers have a selfless love for their children children but watching her go through that as a single mom, gave me a different perspective on motherhood.
I’d love to nominate my mom! My parents actually lived alongside each other tho no longer in love. We felt the tension but never questioned it. They finally decided to pull the trigger and divorced when I got older (I’m youngest of 3).

I am nominating my mom who has raised my younger brother (who has special needs) and I all alone without any help from family. My dad left when we were very young and has not helped in anyway, not even financially, and she has never taken him to court because she doesn’t want to harm my brother and I by doing so. My mom never buys a thing for herself, always spending on my brother and I, so I think this would be something so amazing for her to receive💕 She is a strong woman who has gone through a lot but that doesn’t stop her. I want to nominate my mom. She is a single, independent women that does anything for me and my brother. My mom has always but my happiness, health, and education first. She got me a transfer to a school 25 mins away from home. She switched her whole work schedule around because buses did not go all the way to my house. She had to start waking up at 4 in the morning to be able to get out of work earlier to pick me up and my brother was taking me to school. If it wasn’t for her than I would be going to a poor educated school that doesn’t have the right opportunities for me and my future. I appreciate everything she does for her children. Nominating my mom, who’s a newly single parent of 3. My dad passed a few months ago, and she has given us everything she can, all while dealing with her own grief. She and my dad immigrated separately to this country a few days before the fall of Saigon. My mom arrived with her dad and her brother when she was 13, and they had to rebuild their lives from scratch, with only the money they could sew into their clothes and store in their luggage. Her mentality has always been to give back to her family, her kids, and do whatever she can to make it in this country (she worked as a maid starting at 15, recorded herself to practice getting rid of her accent to avoid scrutiny, made it through college, etc). She’s faced so much hardship in her life, and it would mean to world to me if she could have something nice during such a painful time. Thank you!!
I am nominating my mom! Who single handily raised me! She’s worked so hard and tirelessly for me to have the happiest upbringing and has sacrificed so much for me. She’s my biggest role model playing both roles and has shown it’s possible to raise a child without a companion or help from other people. She recently had knee surgery and will need to get her second knee replaced due to arthritis and always being on her feet from work. I’ve been helping out taking care of her now during recovery but she’s a superhero and the most humble woman ever.
I want to nominate my mother in law as she was a single mom of two boys. Young, in a new country, barely speaking English but doing what she could to raise them on her own. She would work nights, driving 60 miles one way to work and made sure she was back in the mornings. Life continued to happen and no matter what her two boys got themselves into, one questioning his sexuality & the other getting into gang activity.. she would always be there with unconditional love. She has raised two amazing men who couldn’t be more different at their core but are still her whole heart in two pieces.

She gave up her highly respected position in her home country to take me and my sister back to the US by herself to give us a better chance. She’s not a typical mom that cooks and clean, she’s an iron woman that learned to do all of it again and by herself. Working full time as a nurse practitioner and still keeping a smile on my face throughout all the struggles. I’m nominating my mother. I’m 18 now and am slowly realising how much it took for her to raise me all by herself. My dad left her when I wasn’t even one and took everything they owned together with him. Knowing that my mother is a person that always cares more about others then about herself, she would never think about buying a Dior bag. But I hope that one day I will be able to give her one.

I want to nominate my coworker as she has raised two daughters on her own and has openly discussed her struggles throughout the short time I’ve known/ worked with her and I have begun to see her as a bonus mom of my own.
I nominate my mom, who raised 2 children by herself. She immigrated from China and has sacrificed everything to raise 2 people doing multiple part time jobs to take care of us whenever possible. Even now she is still working hard and raising my sister who is still in school.
My mom is the most supportive and most giving person I will ever know. If it’s something that my mom can help with she will. Drive to the hospital at 2 am? Yes, no problem! No food in the house? No problem, she will buy groceries and bring them over without you even asking. Need someone to talk to? She is that person.

I am nominating my mom. It may sound like the usual answer, but the reason is because even though we have one of the most difficult relationships and although it is be toxic at times….I love her to death. I’ve learned some good traits from her and I think even the negative side of her has made me a compassionate person. She also has a big heart. I know she requires a lot of mental help, but she’s still my mom and raised me with my step dad. She loves and cares about me and always wants the best for me even if she can’t provide the emotional support sometimes. ❤
