Introducing the Direct and Focused Violin Strings from Larsen

According to Larsen Strings, the Direct & Focused line was "tested with musicians extensively in Europe, North America and Asia on both new and old Italian instruments including Strads and del Gesù." The sound under the ear may not be the same as the projected sound. I can surmise this, particularly after hearing the stated subjective response by the player to the two sets of strings. To my ears the soloist strings sounded superior in each excerpt. Interesting!
