They just closed the last drive-in a few months ago here in San Diego, California, USA. It is sad. That place was a historic place and they shut it down to build apartments.

The film starts on May 10th, 1945. At 0:47 the soldier says "Heil Hitler". Hitler was already dead by this point (30th April, 1945) and Germany had already surrendered, as 8th May was Victory in Europe day. Don't bother checking basic facts before making your film though! :/

So here's a line I didn't think I'd say today. Not the worst Nazi at the centre of the earth movie I've seen the lack of Hitler riding a T-rex cost it points. The acting is ok and certainly better than manly Asylum movies although there are some cringe worthy Kiwi accents. SFX aren't bad for a B-Movie.
Nazi Overlord
This is a pretty standard WW2 with an Asylum twist. The acting is fair but when the antagonist gets going the scenery is fed into a wood chipper. The effects are fine with a few periodish vehicles and weapons but overall the weaker of the two it lacks the just over the top plot of the first and apart from a couple of moments it's played straight. So you have a basic war movie and an ending telegraphed halfway through the movie.
Overall not a Bad movie it isn't a good one either it is not overtop silly enough for a B-grade sci fi or serious enough to be a good War movie all tied up with a low budget bow
Allen should stick to his football day job.

I am a lover of B movies but these two are just stupid. Don't understand why those involved would let this be filmed. Compared to 1950/60s very bad B movies these two just made the worst of them look like something from Stanley Kubrick. Why must everything made in the last 20 years be non-stop CGI , badly scripped , and lack a decent story. Better to spend time on a good story than putting all hope of a movie on the CGI when it is so poorly dun even the best actors can't save it. I for one would rather watch a bloke ina big rubber monster suit than have to suffer through any more of this sort of dribble.

@@denbyr4488 I haven't seen iron sky, I must put it out there have you ever heard of haxan ? Made in 1922 of corse silent and in black and white with color developed film. So the screen takes on a color that matches up with what is being portrayed using dubble exposure, animation and puppetry being the best of special effects for the time. I hope you find a good version
