12 Volt Warn 8274 winch upgrade to 24 Volt

We have a 12 volt Warn 8274 winch on our Winch challenge truck. Our next step in improving is to upgrade the truck so we can overvolt the winch motor by running it at 24 volts.
This should massively increase the speed and torque of the winch.
We have used a DAF lorry alternator and 2 Numax batteries.
We have also fitted an Albright change over contactor bought from Red Winch.
