    I had a double fusion, single total disc replacement with an Anterior approach. My surgeon did not use a vascular surgeon to help with the approach

      You just answered my question. Spine surgeon recommending ALIF surgery, but didn't mention vascular doc needed. So confused.

    Why can't you go in posterior for lower back. It seems like a lit of extra work and danger when all those organs are there

      I am getting a spinal fusion in two weeks and they are going through both the front and back!

    Great video! So, spine surgeon is recommending ALIF for my husband. Sounds like a vascular surgeon is involved in decision and surgery itself?

      I am getting a anterior and posterior spinal fusion done in a few weeks and there is a vascular surgeon involved to make sure everything goes smoothly from a organ, blood vessel, etc standpoint
