I had a double fusion, single total disc replacement with an Anterior approach. My surgeon did not use a vascular surgeon to help with the approach
You just answered my question. Spine surgeon recommending ALIF surgery, but didn't mention vascular doc needed. So confused.
@@juliegill9322 he had an assistant surgeon, but he was vascular
Why can't you go in posterior for lower back. It seems like a lit of extra work and danger when all those organs are there
I am getting a spinal fusion in two weeks and they are going through both the front and back!
Great video! So, spine surgeon is recommending ALIF for my husband. Sounds like a vascular surgeon is involved in decision and surgery itself?
I am getting a anterior and posterior spinal fusion done in a few weeks and there is a vascular surgeon involved to make sure everything goes smoothly from a organ, blood vessel, etc standpoint
