Why all the hate? Do I prefer the original? YES. Toy Caldwell is a guitar God in my eyes. But, Brett said before they ever started singing “we redid it.” And No, Toy would not roll over in his grave. Songwriters are HONORED when someone covers their song with a new perspective instead of just trying to be a cheap copy of his. This is not meant to be a copy but an “interpretation.” No one will ever have Toy’s tone/style but for Poison.....this works.... Vocals are very good.
🎵 Can You See 🎵 song sure beings me back yrs ago...gr8 southern rock song by Marshall Tucker Band...happy 2 hear/see Poison singing/performing it...love Bret Michaels as the lead singer of this grp TOO...HE is "SMOKIN'" HOT (not because he is sweating in video either!) Thx 4 sharing this video TOO...HAD a Happy...Healthy...& SAFE day (s)!!!!! 💘 🌹 💋 KISSES 💋
Never heard it before. I'm British. Mind you. Most Americans, wouldn't have heard of The Romantics. Talking in your sleep. Which Poison did Brilliantly. CC is amazing.
definitely one of the best covers of this song ever!! I no doubt love CC. Everything from the sound of his set to his rhythm. I do wish he would play the songs live, closer to the studio/album. He goes a lil bit over board a lot of the times. I don't know what CC and Bret fought over all the time, but I have a feeling that was one of Brets complaints. He will over play scales until he throws the band out of time. It must have been that cocaine fever running through his veins,
Dan Diego it’s not their song... just their interpretation of it. Not to mention it’s live.. you don’t want to lose the energy of the show. I think they did it with respect to the original.
The only thing that resembles the original are the lyrics LOL Not even close to sounding anything like the song that was written in 1973. Nice try. Thanks for at least trying to tip your hat to the great Toy Caldwell Brett, you're the best
I grew up in the Marshall Tucker era. This a great cover by Poisen. Really good!

I love how they cover this with the utmost respect to the song.. awesome!
This song is twice as old as most of the audience. Schooled in a good way
I bought the DVD just for this song. I’m not the biggest MTB fan but they nailed this.
❤🎉
C.C. 🔥
Always have loved me some Poison 🎸🎸🎸🍻

That was a huge hit, I think most people who were around at that time know it!
Oh snap .. I am absolutely blown away right now.. thank you 🙏

02:19 MY FAV PART
It's tough to capture the tone of the original solo and CC just didn't do it.

It’s not meant to be a carbon copy
OOPS CORRECTION: ***CAN'T YOU SEE*** ( NOT "CAN YOU SEE"...sorry)
You got hear Minglewood band do this one....Just not the same without the lead up.
Toy Caldwell would approve
Not bad

Kimberly O I think they did it better than the original. It was more fun.
Because it’s in the style of “Poison”. Who wants an exact copy?
I saw Poison in 86. It was the gayest experience I've ever had.
....and yet, you watched this video and cared enough read the comments .... guess you must be a closet gay! lmfao
I like Poison but Toy Caldwell would be pissed off in his grave listening to this cover. Terrible. Zach Brown Band plays this song better
You're obviously tone deaf.
Terrible cover
Let's see you do better.
Really bad renditions like this woeful attempt make you really appreciate this original.
Terrible cover
