- Hello and welcome to my channel! I'm sharing a few of my favorite make-ahead recipes for Fall, and getting my meals and ingredients prepared for the week ahead. I enjoy cooking when I have the time, but after a day at work I want to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible. I keep my fridge stocked with produce and having it washed and chopped in advance is a big time saver at meal time.
I hope today’s video gives you plenty of motivation to get you ready for the week.

🥣 Beef & Broccoli Stir-fry w/ Brown Rice

🥣 Shrimp & Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner

RECEPIES:
Asparagus Soup
1 quart chicken or veggie stock
2 lbs fresh asparagus
Half an onion
1 medium red potato
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp crushed oregano
3-4 cloves roast garlic
Red Chili
2 cans kidney beans ( drained and rinsed)
2 cans diced tomato
2 cans tomato sauce
1/2 can tomato paste
1/4 to 1/3 C chili seasoning
1/2 lb ground turkey
3/4 cloves roast garlic
Daily Green Smoothie:
12 oz unsweetened coconut water
2.5 oz spinach
2.5 oz kale
1 C celery
1 C cucumber
1 C pineapple
1 banana
1 serving collagen

Today, I thought of you while I was making dinner and meal prepping and had a soapy sink ready for dishes and did some as I went along. I only had a few dishes to do after dinner which gave me much more time with my little sweet family. I have food in the fridge ready to heat up when needed now too. Your drawers, cabinets, refrigerator, freezer are all so pristine. When you roast garlic, do you keep the peel/skin on until you’re ready to use it? Hey Girl! 😀 Thank you! You are always so sweet! 🥰 I roast the entire head of garlic. I slice the top off the head of garlic drizzle a little olive oil. I use a small casserole dish with a lid. The dish holds about 5 or 6 heads. Most of the time I just squeeze the paste out of the skin, but sometimes it's easier to peel 🤷♀️ I try to keep the dogs out of the kitchen for (my) safety mostly. 🤣 He lives under my feet when he's afraid of something. 🤦♀️ Thanks again and enjoy your week! 😊💕🌸

Never thought to use my potato masher to break up my turkey - I use ground turkey for tacos and chili too and it’s harder to break up than ground beef.

Good afternoon! Randi can you please do a breakdown of your bed and bedding. You are doing it right. Believe it or not, the process of choosing the right bed, mattress, mattress cover, pillows, and bedding can be quite intimidating. I hope I'm not the only one. That is my next step, to get all new bedroom furniture and beautiful bedding. I want it to have that boutique spa/retreat feel and look. I have gone to Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penny's, Target, Wal-Mart, Ashley's, Online, Rooms to Go and I just get so frustrated. So many choices. I want to choose well and wise. Do you have a specific bed, bedding, furniture store etc.. that you love or could recommend? Please give details. We love your style. Thank you in advance!!! 😊
Hi Valerie! I’m looking for a new bed frame, I’m leaning toward Pottery Barn. The bedroom furniture is from Thomasville. It was pricey, but we’ve had our furniture for 30 years, now. 🤷🏼♀️ Cotton sheets and down pillows and inserts we usually find at Costco. Look for high thread counts, 600. I prefer natural fabrics over synthetic. But the quilts, duvets, and shams are from Pottery Barn. Had the same ones for years. I don’t mind spending on quality, if I really love it. I have 2 quilts and 2 duvets that I can mix and match for different looks. Mattress and memory foam topper we found at Costco. Furniture is a big investment, so try to find quality transitional pieces that compliment different design styles. I hope that helps.

We clean mushrooms here in Germany..just not with water.. but dry.. a mushroom brush and (one of the few uses) a papertowel
I know! 😂 Mushrooms absorb the water. It’s probably healthier to brush them, too. It’s just a personal quirk. 😂 🤷🏼♀️

Hey Randy, I read that it's alright to wash mushrooms as long as you do it right before you use them you can't wash them in advance or they'll get soggy but if you do it right before you cook them that's alright

Hi, Love the meal prep but how do you heat up the salmon meal. You have cooked the fish & grain but veg is frozen? Confused.
Reheat in the microwave for about 3 minutes. Frozen veggies save time and freezing locks in the nutrients.

Hi Ashley! All the appliance are KitchenAid. They’re over 10 years old now. We have a counter depth fridge so it’s smaller than standard size.
do you have an outside job? bc you always seem so organized and motivated.. how & when do you clean/ mealprep if u have one.. timewise I mean.. I work fulltime and need a system
I’m working from home these days. But I have a system to keep me on track. I have a playlist for routines, but I spend about 30 minutes a day during the week. 15 minutes for my morning routine and another 15 minutes for a weekly chore give or take. When I had a longer commute, I cleaned up after work. But now I prefer mornings. An hour on the weekend give or take. The meal prep I do on the weekend is the only reason I cook dinner after work some days 😂 The hardest part is developing new habits. 😬Getting organized saves huge amounts of time in the long run. Fly Lady is a good system but confusing, the app is easy to follow. Clean Mama is another great resource for routines. I use a combination of those methods. Good Luck! 🍀 😊 💕

What brand/ model refrigerator do you have? Do you like it?
I don't know the exact model, but we have KitchenAid appliances in the kitchen. It's 12 years old, now and we haven’t had any repairs. The fridge has a rattling noise, but I do like the features. Everything is adjustable and easy to remove and clean.
