Is there an interview or YT video explaining how this all started? I watched Game 1 and Game 2 yesterday. Was it as simple as people who liked your Dodgers videos showed up to the softball field? Crazy how many people were on the field early on.
I made an instagram post asking people to show up at a time/place if they wanted to play softball. I think I had about 30,000 IG followers at the time, just enough to get enough people to show up! The first four or five meetups were public, then had way too many people, switched it to invite only. Most of the current players came from the initial public games. Also added some later through people who submitted essays saying why they wanted to play through IG DMs, which is still a thing, but I only add like one person every couple years through that nowadays.
@@dodgerfilms Yeah it is super cool digging through some of the older videos the past few days seeing little Javi, Gabe, Kersh, I'm sure others i'm not thinking about.
