Had 2 Subaru’s similar to this about 12 yrs ago here in the uk , both wrx,sti , one was the original classic shape and the other was the pro drive spec one , eagle eye shape , rubbish fuel economy, around 310 bhp 360 ftlbs , never had any problems etc replacing front tyres , they got driven pretty hard , I replaced them with a Nissan 350 z nismo , and preferred that for some reason , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
I just want to say, you have a subaru I am in awe of. here in Colorado it's a very rare sighting of a clean subaru that isn't destroyed. love the setup.
I love those black rims. I have a similar car, but the golden 18 wheels. You have built a really beautifull Subaru. Greetings from the other Finland Subaru driver!
Ok I originally wasn't going to use this because it was too long but I haven't put anything up in a month and still wasn't satisfied with the one I did last week so screw it, here you go. Any future plans that I mention in this video have been scrapped, nothing else is going to be done to the car. Also I apologize for the quality of the slidey intro part, I have no idea how/what happened to it.
I just got my first Subaru WRX, 2006, not STI. Looking for guidance on making it look good starting with a spoiler. Is carbon fiber worth it if I'm really just building it for looks currently. Or should I just go with the much cheaper fiber glass option?
+idrisu1 I'm not swapping the headers anymore. Actually I'm doing anything else to it, its staying the way it is. As for drive bys every time I've tried to do one the wind ruins it I don't have an external mic or anything to put over the internal one to stop wind noise. Evan Shanks has the same exact setup with the exception of after market UEL headers and I know he has a few videos of him romping on it from the inside and outside so if you really want to hear what it sounds like I'd just search his channel.
Its from Molded Innovations and Subimods.com sells them for $100. Yeah, I meant rotors and the reason why I have two different brands is because the brand that I got for the rear didn't have front's available at the time when I needed the fronts.
+LAZY I did not. The mods it had done to it when I got it were: HKS carbon TI catback Catless DP Lowering Springs Agency Power Fuel Rails Rally Armor Mudflaps Cobb AP Everything else was add over the course of one year.
You could run a quick search on forums for these cars to find issues. These cars can last a long time if you treat them well. From the brief research I did when I was planning to buy, it shows that these have issues with blowing ringlands (which is why I recommended a compression test before purchase).
@@ravesilly thank you for the Speedy reply, I love your car it is my dream car. I had found your car on Google Images and then I stumbled on a video. For some reason I always thought that when you went from factory tires and rims to low profile tires and rims you had to have your fenders rolled.
lol my subaru wrx sti 2005 has 265k miles original motor trans and turbo. stage 2 but 2 months ago my brother blew the motor.. shifted wrong and accidently red line the car over 9k rpm and BOOM the car died
+HugeCrazydave 14 You are correct. It's gets rid of the lumpyness that the UEL's have and instead gives you a nice smooth note. Engineering explained has a really good video explaining the difference between the two.
When you say 'disks' you mean rotors? Why different brands front to back? I'm trying to source some BBKs for my Kia Forte (yeah laugh it up) but only new ones are available and they're expensive as hell.
Tbh, I'm over the "WRX rumble." EHS give better, more efficient performance. If you buy an STI simply for the rumble, that might as well be considered ricey.
majority of people buy the Subaru's wrx and sti's for the rumble, that's what makes it unique. Equal headers are good for a little but of more horsepower but these cars are made for the streets and not dragging some V8
I love those black rims. I have a similar car, but the golden 18 wheels. You have built a really beautifull Subaru. Greetings from the other Finland Subaru driver!
This is seriously one of the CLEANEST STIs I'ver ever seen. I WISH mine was this clean when I got it. Very rare to see one like this man good job!!!
Same! I literally just said the same thing. Lol. This car is a huge argument for pain over wrap/dip. Lol.
your car though *-*
that's my dream car

JUST BOUGHT MY 06 WRB STI TODAY!!! SO EXCITED, CANT WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE!!!
Still got the car? If you do are u satisfied with it?
Such a sweet car. Nice color, wheels, and spoiler. Everything's done tastefully
I just want to say, you have a subaru I am in awe of. here in Colorado it's a very rare sighting of a clean subaru that isn't destroyed. love the setup.
Damn. That car is so clean! Really makes me realize how far gone the paint on my STi is. Same year too. RIP.I wish mine were this clean!
Saaame here, but I daily it... I get my smiles from the driver seat. Not standing around the outside.
I love those black rims. I have a similar car, but the golden 18 wheels. You have built a really beautifull Subaru. Greetings from the other Finland Subaru driver!

Car looks good man!
Beautiful. Very well kept.
You need to do a POV drive in this, Or atleast a vlog driving it! Love your car.
+KickPlaysGames For a POV drive I can do something like a dashcam setup. Actually I've been meaning to do something like that for a while now.

Ok I originally wasn't going to use this because it was too long but I haven't put anything up in a month and still wasn't satisfied with the one I did last week so screw it, here you go.

+William Lau It gets washed every week in the summer, every 3 weeks in the winter, and detailed professionaly once a year.
clean car. I'm from Maryland . sooo how much you want for it?
I just got my first Subaru WRX, 2006, not STI. Looking for guidance on making it look good starting with a spoiler. Is carbon fiber worth it if I'm really just building it for looks currently. Or should I just go with the much cheaper fiber glass option?
go with the cheaper option
Good to see You take care of your motor looks Great
Really starting to miss my 07:(
Car is beautiful man. Let's colab on some related vids. Stay boosted
+Boosted Life Colab how? I'm not really opposed to it.
nice subi.. i need one
Hawk eye d best muy bueno
can you do a a couple drive bys before you swap the headers? i want to hear how to sounds with that exhaust setup
+idrisu1 I'm not swapping the headers anymore. Actually I'm doing anything else to it, its staying the way it is. AYEEEE MARYLAND TAGS
thatS dope !!!
So clean n beautiful car...juz love it
Hey what lips is that? I've discovered a lot of parts for other cars actually fit on my car. That front lip looks pretty sick.
Its from Molded Innovations and Subimods.com sells them for $100.
Yeah, I meant rotors and the reason why I have two different brands is because the brand that I got for the rear didn't have front's available at the time when I needed the fronts.
Did you buy it with most of the mods done to it? Love this car.. So sick!!
+LAZY I did not. The mods it had done to it when I got it were:
HKS carbon TI catback
Catless DP
Lowering Springs
Agency Power Fuel Rails
Rally Armor Mudflaps
Cobb AP
Everything else was add over the course of one year.
And that is basically the whole.. never mind you can't see it.
nice car
Damn I want a wrx
@JrProductionz77 where it will come from ? Is Japan
You have my dream car haha
Clean Car brooo . 10/10 Thumb up
Is the Hawkeye generally 2000cc or 2500cc?
Did u fart 21 seconds into the video!?
Phenomenal car. Sadly I'll be selling my 04 STI due to a move overseas. But I already have my eyes set on a hawkeye there :D
Wait so how did you make a subie put out a lot of horsepower while keeping it relatively reliable? I heard that's impossible
mud flaps starting to curl on you yet?
Any fitment problems with those wheels
would look good without the ridiculously big aero plane wing on the back other wise 10/10
No it would look 0/10 without the stock spoiler. It ain’t a really subaru unless it’s got the wing.
hi, what is code color? many thanks
how many miles can you put on this car?
Wheels?
I’m lookin to buying an sti 06, what are something to look out for man ? Thanks in advance .
Sphinx Da2 get a compression test. They are know to blow ringlands...main thing to watch for
Dylan cantoral hey thanks man, I ended up getting a 05 Wrx not sti , but it seems to run great should I still run that test bro
Sphinx Da2 it definitely wouldn’t hurt, however it was mostly the 2006-2007 model wrx and wrx sti’s. Hope this helps🤘
Dylan Cantoral what's wrong with the 2006-2007 models than? isn't it reliable are there any mistakes in it because i want to know

Did you get the fenders rolled?
Nope, fenders are unrolled/unpulled
@@ravesilly thank you for the Speedy reply, I love your car it is my dream car. I had found your car on Google Images and then I stumbled on a video. For some reason I always thought that when you went from factory tires and rims to low profile tires and rims you had to have your fenders rolled.
For your wheels, did you have to roll any fenders? I'm planning to go 11R's as well.
+Jason Tran I didn't need to roll or pull my fenders at all but that's because I went with a +47 offset.
+ravesilly awesome, what size tires are you running? 235?
Jason Tran Yes sir
tres velle
tires 18 " or 17" ?
He said 18
crazy awesome car planning to buy my hatch 08 2.0 impreza . is it good?

+Tyler Roberts Bel Air area

lol my subaru wrx sti 2005 has 265k miles original motor trans and turbo. stage 2 but 2 months ago my brother blew the motor.. shifted wrong and accidently red line the car over 9k rpm and BOOM the car died
how pissed are you at him lol
I'm sure that is you swap the headers you won't have that boxer Noice that's in the subaru I could be wrong though
+HugeCrazydave 14 You are correct. It's gets rid of the lumpyness that the UEL's have and instead gives you a nice smooth note. Engineering explained has a really good video explaining the difference between the two.

I love those black rims. I have a similar car, but the golden 18 wheels. You have built a really beautifull Subaru. Greetings from the other Finland Subaru driver!
+imTopzu Thank you sir!
