Great "how to" video :) It explains what I was looking for: how to change the ammo without changing the zero settings. This OFFSET feature is awesome. "Quick" question: would you know the twist rate & direction (right or left) for the FX smooth twist in .22 caliber? (Streamline). Not sure how significant the impact of the twist rate is though. Maybe very small for airguns...
Not 100% sure for the old smooth twist but I'd say start with 1:30 rh twist and then shoot, check for discrepancies at 25 and 50m and then go back in and change the twist rate and see what happens. If you make it faster and the data is more wrong you'll have to make it slower and vice versa. The new twist rates are easy to find but the old ones are a bit of a mystery, go do it the old fashioned way... trail and error

I have some doubts with the Twist Rate and the Strelok Pro App. I have a FX Impact MKII PP, I am using a .22 STX Liner A 600mm, with a Twist Rate of 1:19 (according to the FX official rates for Smooth Twist X barrels). I hope you can help me. What number do I put in Twistt Rate (inches) in the Strelok App?. How do I find that number from the 1:X relationship?. How does that translate to inches?. So I learn for when I change size or caliber barrel. Is it Right or Left Hand Twist? Thank you very much and greetings from Spain.
If it's a 1:16 twist just put "16" in the box and if you look down the length of the liner from the chamber ens towards the muzzle end you will see the rifling starts on the left hand side and turns over to the right hand side so it is a right hand twist 👍

Hi mate bin out testing again and got a nice 890 fps in .22 setting and hammer spring on 4 and in the .25 setting and hammer spring on setting 3 a nearly constant 920 fps wiv jsb heavys 18.13 well pleased wiv it now 👌
Nice! I reckon 920 is about as fast as you could go before running into destabilizing issues. Should have a nice flat trajectory wipping along at 900+ too
Youd have to take it to the range and shoot some groups at the same range you zeroed your first ammo at, then measure the difference and input that info into the appropriate field in the app

Yes mine is a samsung s9 so maybe iPhone is different? To be honest I forgot to change the drag function but in actual practice shooting at different ranges from the data provided has been spot on so far. I might run into problems with wind but so it's probably worth doing even if it's a small change. Your best bet to find out for sure would be to pull the sleeve out and measure it yourself mate. I'm pretty sure all the standard. 25cal smooth twist x liners are 1:30 but not sure about the old smooth twist in your impact
Try 1:16 and shoot some groups to see how accurate the app is to reality. I read some forum posts and 1:16 was the general consensus. I'm not sure how the older smooth twist rifling style performs with ballistic math... could be a little weird

@@flytelaw1 thanks mate! Just remember that if you barrel sleeve doesn't have the rifling the whole way down it's a smooth twist, not a smooth twist x and the twist rate is probably 1:16 not 1:30

Hey mate you can change the value in the setting from mrad to moa and it will be correct from the start instead of having to convert moa to mrad and back again
Haha! Yeah it is a pack now I guess... my neighbors dogs are living with us too now while he is off shooting a TV show. Apparently there all decided they're "inside dogs" now and my floor has never been dirtier...
I have 3 dogs at the moment, we live in a rural area so as long as it doesnt annoy the neighbors nobody really cares about limits lol I think its probably a limit of 2 but I'm not sure. We end up looking after the neighbors animals too so during holiday times the pack gets a little bigger
I have an fx impact sidewinder 4x16 ffp shooting 903ft/sec using USB king 25 grain StrelokPro gives me 66 clicks but 52 gets me on target not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't trust the app. I want to but I can't get viable target data
I'm pretty drunk right now but I think you need to "true" the algorithm. Basically you need to zero at a close range, say 25m, and then shoot an group at a far distance, say 50m, and tell the app how far off it is. This will true the algorithm and correct the discrepancy. If this doesn't work you've put incorrect information into the app. If you want to go into detail about your settings swing over to the discussion part of my channel and list your exact information inputs and I'll try and help wherever I can
If you dont have a chronograph you'll have to go oldschool and shoot a group at every 5m or 10m and note down where the pellet lands so you know for next time. It's called a "dope sheet" Data On Previous Engagements
