I've had the same problems, only my truck was a 99 silverado. fixed the abs thing the same way you did. I went to a wrecking yard and pulled an old radiator from a chevy van and swapped that. Ignition switch is like 50 bucks on ebay at the most. for the tailgate and door handles you are looking at another 100 bucks or so, you basically can fix that thing up for under a thousand bucks. But blowing it up would be way more fun though !

You could work out some rules like more money to shoot bigger calibers, whatever. Then, all the proceeds go to charity. Vet ranch, maybe, or given the spirit of the fundraising, maybe a veterans fund or something. You could maybe think of other things to make out more interesting, like have some really huge guns like the BMG that are like 20 bucks to shoot. Maybe have the can cannon be free to shoot for people who can't afford it (since it won't really do a ton of damage). Put together a whole menu of carnage. Money would go to charity, the community would have a good time, and we'd get to see how close a truck can get to swiss cheese. It would be cool to see the end result of a whole day of people shooting at one truck.

How many times have you fired your BMG from the bed of the truck into tanerite? Isn't it fitting to send it off with a shot from your new trucks bed using the BMG, into the cab filled partially with tanerite?
If you ever work on anything that's steel, put some sheet steel on the ceiling and get magnetic cups. I love my setup. Makes rebuilding snowmobile engines easy.
First you should leave the truck running and see how many armor piercing and 50cal rounds the engine can take before blowing. Then see if you can make the gas tank explode by shooting through the truck with incendiary rounds. Or use the grenade launcher

If you have the 5.3 motor it's really good to turbo and make a sleeper. I have some of the same problems with mine but it's a turbocharged sleeper. Really fun

Then kick a soccer ball at them using the 50 with tracer rounds, possibly add some tannerite plus a few million sparklers. A couple of sparkler bombs should be a nice added part. I would also do this at night. Honestly what ever you choose it should be epic.
Set up a fundraiser for Vet Ranch by setting up a sledgehammer slam on the truck. $5 per swing. $20 for 5 swings. Etc. That way the truck gets destroyed in a fun way and you can get some more funds and support for Vet Ranch.

beth hinton I highly recommend NOT doing that. there transmissions (2016-2017) are prone to fail almost immediately. When I worked for a Ford dealership I saw ten of these with this problem. all under 10000km

Hey Matt, an idea for your workarea (ie the sink), instead of running a pipe along the ground to the drain, you should do a cutout in the floor (Just a small little channel) and then you can put a rubber strip over it, or something like that, that way, less of a tripping hazard, etc and gets rid of the water!

Hysterical. Had an old truck (which I LOVED, it was my longest relationship), a 94 toyota sr5 4x4, 206,000+ miles which had so many little "issues" and some major ones which finally put me over the edge (even did the engine replacement, then rebuilt *that* engine when it blew the head gasket....again....). Any trip over 30 minutes made me quesy, never knowing whether or not it would make it was never wracking. And of course I had no AC. And the radio was crap because when the mechanic was last "fixing" (he really didn't know what he was doing) the last electrical issue, knocked the back speaker connection off. Wish I would have blown that sucker up rather than give it to the dealer - who didn't even want to buy it. Seriously, no dealership would offer me anything for it. Sigh, still miss it though...

I know this is late, but there are ABS sensors on each hub. They get metal specks on the sensor and sometimes you can clean them off and fix your ABS issue you said.
Don't blow it up Matt, keep it as a ranch truck. You'd be surprised how handy it will be for jobs around the house. Fix the coolant issue by getting a junkyard radiator and some piping for cheap and that truck will be fine for around the homestead chores for years to come.

Actually, if he removed the engine (Not too hard to do, could probably get someone else to do it if he so wishes) then the only "Pollution" will be small amounts of rust that flake off.

If you find a full auto shoot around you I'm sure they would be open to the idea of dragging your truck down range and then letting the line open up on it. Then for an added bonus you might be able to partner with a binary explosive company to put some in different areas of the truck.

Hey Matt, an idea for your workarea (ie the sink), instead of running a pipe along the ground to the drain, you should do a cutout in the floor (Just a small little channel) and then you can put a rubber strip over it, or something like that, that way, less of a tripping hazard, etc and gets rid of the water!
Use a ton of tannerite like your video a few years back! Park it over a big pipe and shoot it. Also, you need to use those 50Cal islets on it. I wanna see a 50cal through an engine.

Hysterical. Had an old truck (which I LOVED, it was my longest relationship), a 94 toyota sr5 4x4, 206,000+ miles which had so many little "issues" and some major ones which finally put me over the edge (even did the engine replacement, then rebuilt *that* engine when it blew the head gasket....again....). Any trip over 30 minutes made me quesy, never knowing whether or not it would make it was never wracking. And of course I had no AC. And the radio was crap because when the mechanic was last "fixing" (he really didn't know what he was doing) the last electrical issue, knocked the back speaker connection off. Wish I would have blown that sucker up rather than give it to the dealer - who didn't even want to buy it. Seriously, no dealership would offer me anything for it. Sigh, still miss it though...

FullMag did something similar with his truck. Was pretty sweet. Maybe get some pointers, what worked, what didn't work.
I think there are enough videos of vehicles getting blown up on UA-cam, so unless he can utilize a Javelin system to terminate the truck, I'd rather see it pulled apart and ran over by a couple APCs or tanks.

I know this is late, but there are ABS sensors on each hub. They get metal specks on the sensor and sometimes you can clean them off and fix your ABS issue you said.

Don't blow it up Matt, keep it as a ranch truck. You'd be surprised how handy it will be for jobs around the house. Fix the coolant issue by getting a junkyard radiator and some piping for cheap and that truck will be fine for around the homestead chores for years to come.
The most epic way would be, Creepy Cooter sitting in it and blowing it up with Semtex and/or grenadelounchers
