The driving on the other side of the road would take some getting used to. I was at a college soccer game and spent some time talking to a college student from what used to be British Ceylon, where they also drive on the left side of the road like in India and the UK. He told me that it took about two weeks for him to get used to driving on the right side in the US and interestingly, it took some time re-adjusting to driving on the left when he visited home. We are creatures of habit and this means making a new habit.
Yes. I live in Tampa Florida and I have been looking for the America I watch in the movies. Finally got a feel when I got to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
I've lived in this country for most of 50 years - I've never really related to the Hollywood version of America - it's a complete fiction. The families in TV shows have nothing in common with me, the talking heads in news programs live in a different world, etc. There's a big difference between Hollywood and New York City and Washington, D.C. on one hand, and "fly-over country" on the other.
The food sizes are ok! They’re pretty generous with it. As for the accent being different, not until my American Friendship Family pointed it out... I thought y’all have the same accent. 😀 I really don’t pay attention to it and I’m not sure I will be able to tell the difference yet.
Maybe I'm just hungry right now but I'd recommend trying authentic Cajun food. If the US has one place where the spice is a little more flavorful that would probably be it
Your charm is irresistible!!😁 You look energetic.💪 You have a great smile. I love you!!😘 Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships😘🤗😁Now, the world can be a nasty crazy place out there, we need a lot of courage and we need a lot of resilience after that, and we will fall down before we stand up… What really matters is the silence of the night in our conscience, when we are alone. We cannot control what happens but we can use what happens. We have so much reserves of love and support inside us, if we can just remember that in our mind and move on.
Everything you said is so apt considering the current world situation. we all need to look inward and decide what is really important. Anger takes more energy while living in peace and love with everyone requires less/no energy
Every major western country tends to have 3 major immigrant communities i.e , Chinese, indians and Nigerians. But what do these 3 countries have in common?🤔
did you guys say they are nice. What state are you guys in, cause my state is different, even african americans tell me to go back to Africa, they say bad words to me like I chase the lions in Africa. So I have now declare myself as anti social I don't mingle and tingle with people.
Full disclosure- middle aged white male, proud American. I love my country but we are so many people in so many places and we aren't always at our best. I can only ask you to keep trying. I know it's hard. I'm American and it's not always easy for me. I can only imagine the difficulties you've faced coming here. I've lived a few places in the US and I've traveled to more. You will always be you, life will always be life but America has a lot of variety and a lot to offer. If you have any contacts anywhere else in the US maybe try a visit. Preferably not big cities or stereotypical American attractions and the like, but visit a friend in a small town or a little trip to look at some odd interest you have. There is a place for everyone here it's only a matter of finding it. I hope you can have patience with us and I'm sorry you've had the experience that you've had
@@aboutthat1440 It’s not a lie. I have been in the US for a long time and yes the only people who have told me to go back to Africa are African Americans. Some are not nice at all so don’t discount what the OP says because you’ve never experienced it.
HES NOT AMERICAN! What do you expect from a non native? Americans like you are so entitled but I bet if you were to go to India you wouldn't be able to say a little Indian. Plus, his english is EXTREMELY well
Even when Americans watch movies that show how America supposedly is we are wondering, "where is that?" lol
😂😂😂 This is funny. Lol
@@AladiAkoh Hehehe 😂
Someone needs to tell them about NYC, LA, SF, DC, etc.

Hmm ..very nice..atleast I know a little bit of americans
I’m glad you’ve learned 1 or 2 things about them.😀
The African version of this video is coming soon on this channel. 🙂
one of them looks like saga from gang movie
The one on the left, he needed subtitles.

We are in South Dakota. Sorry about your experience. Stay safe!
That is so sad! Most Americans love to interact with people from different cultures. I'm so sorry you have had a bad experience.

I don't believe the op AT ALL. They made that up about AA saying go back to Africa. I have no doubt about that being a bald faced lie.

The first India guy English accent is terrible... Nice video
And you are judging it on what standard exactly?
