I love this. Thank you Tahnee for giving Alyssa this opportunity to be able to speak her truth! I have to admit I didn’t have the best impression of Alyssa during the show. But seeing her story unfold after MAFS - that was a knock to myself to never judge anyone based on these shows. Alyssa I support you!❤
@alyssabakescakes7014 you will find a great guy anyone with a brain cell knows these shows are heavily edited and they made duncan look luck a Saint and honestly didn't even think he was thay good looking he knew it which made him really unattractive glas you got tell your side of the story 😉 love from ireland 🇮🇪
Maybe the MAFS editing was skewed to portray you in a certain light but Duncan was a great communicator. You really emotionally tortured that guy. You took him for granted. Also, no one with a child should ever go on a reality show, it is irresponsible and sets a bad example.
I wouldnt really call that love bombing personally but i know people have different life experiences and different reactions to little things others wouldnt react to. Im so glad im watching this as the editing on reality tv is insane!
Alyssa is a absolute Queen!! So glad she’s finally telling her side. Because people should watch it again some of her responses on mafs didn’t make any sense at all!!! Loving your podcast 💜
Good chat, ladies! I'm guilty of judging from the minuscule amount of screen grabs we see 😳 This year has been good at exposing the toxicity of production.
Alyssa is the biggest hypocrite. She had a lot of nerve to forbid Duncan to talk to Adam when she JUST revealed to him she slept with a married man for MONTHS. By her logic, Duncan should have cut her off for being a home-wrecker right from the get go. She consistently fails to see flaws in herself. She needs serious help and needs a mirror. On the couples retreat, once again Duncan was trying to be understanding of her needs and what does he get in return? Alyssa lighting him up and totally misrepresenting the conversation to the girls. Not once have I seen Alyssa concerned about Duncan’s needs at all. No two-way street. Her way or the highway. I haven’t even finished the season, but Alyssa might be my least favorite cast member of the entire season. Total narcissist.
THANK YOU. I have been looking for this comment for ages cos It was honestly something that I could NOT wrap head my around & I was wondering if others thought the same. She is so damn fuckin hypocritical & so unself aware about it Omg

I absolutely loved this episode, Arrk! Tauhnee, you're doing an amazing job providing your fellow cast members with a safe, non-judgmental environment to share their truths. I appreciated how Alyssa focused on her feelings and experiences without tearing others down (girls boss) . The episode was both entertaining and enlightening, shedding light on situations from the time on MAFS. Alyssa, your beauty inside and out shines through. You carried yourself well on MAFS and beyond, from defending the girls to showing vulnerability with Duncan. Keep up the great work, Alyssa! Love you, girl. Can’t wait for pt2 💞
I disagree about MAFS UK being boring. It’s still really great and has drama as well as lovely moments. Mental Health support is very important and the show regardless of which country is aired from should give the same level of support.
Tahnee!!! 💖👑 I’m adopting you now. And Alyssa! 🥲🥲🥲 I loved this. This is SO you! So in alignment with my experience of the “experiment.” Can’t wait to do the MAFS cast face readings!!! 🎉
Love this podcast!! Thank you for allowing Alyssa to tell her side and hopefully help her to move forward. You are so deserving of happiness which I hope you find one way or another. 🤍
Tahnee, have you seen any of the American MAFS seasons? I’m curious how the differences would strike you and other cast members. For example, no dinner parties OR commitment ceremonies. Just one Decision Day. Also, after honeymoons couples move into a neutral apartment and return to their jobs(!)
Glad Alyssa is feeling better, and I know there’ll be another instalment but I feel as though some of the subtext in the interviews suggests something sparked with Duncan and Evelyn on the experiment 😮 did they have extra marital!!!
Im revisiting this now the new season is on. There was a rumour they had been screwing since the retreat. It was shut down on reddit because too many women were wetting the couches over duncan
Love this! Alyssa you're totally valid. kept saying to mum as we were watching why do I feel like Duncan was boring and we don't see much of him... its because it was edited out!

I don’t believe anything she says. She was so rude and a very negative person. She was so judgemental for Jesse’s kiss saga yet she cheated with a married man for 6 whole months!
I think she got a bad edit because of her secret during confessions week. I think production judged her and wanted her to get what she “deserves”. You know some of those people have a “God” complex and they want to control things. Just my thought…
Alyssa I think you should have a look into avoidant attachment style - Duncan sounds like he has it to a t. My partner and I broke up recently and he did the same things to me towards the end. Lots of tit for tats, lots of broken communication, super charismatic and people pleasing and often manipulating you into feeling safe right before they dump you

You are hanging to minutia to small insignificant details which make you look 👀 as if you were clingy and you are so attached to everything It must be a torture for you listening to your own thoughts or ideas. Alyssa do you realise the whole drama you are explaining here , is all your in your head ? Alyssa you were supposed to stay with your new husband. You said were living Duncan on the weekends behind instead of looking after your new relationship. A problem here your friends and mom always say “yes” to your own thoughts. It seems they are afraid to tell you what they really think about your situation. It seems you felt so self entitled also you thought you were Duncan’s Owner and had to obey your thoughts 💭 ?!?! 😱.
