I will recommend you to use varnish, it's better than nail paint. I didn't have varnish at that time that's why I used nail paint.

Hello,
Don't use all the clay at once. Just take whatever amount we want and work on small portions, rest keep it back in the pack and use as per the requirement. This will help in making clay hard as we are using small portions as required

if you keep it safely in showcase then it will not break. Nor it will crack if kept for long period. Just make sure it doesn't fall down

Polymer clay and air dry clay are different. Air dry clay don't need baking, while polymer clay needs baking. Even when you oven it for bake the glass bottle inside the polymer clay might break too.

You can use fevicryl acrylic colours, single bottle cost around 20 rs, or you can buy complete set on Amazon or flipkart or nearby stationary shop.
