You missed one factor. Vegeta would not have been stronger than Goku even after the time chamber. The mastery of super saiyan is vastly superior to the forms Vegeta and Trunks displayed. And he's had YEARS in this state. Vegeta wouldn't hold a candle.
I don't think he'd ever fall out of mastered UI. True UI is just UI omen with emotions used it. It's a lesser form taking advantage of his emotions for power. If anything, he'd learn how to turn mastered UI into true UI.
@MalphasMD Well, as the narrator said, for mortals to use UI, mortals have to make it a form, not use it as a technique. That being said, UI omen and True UI are one and the same. Goku just learns to pull his emotions into it, so I believe that he'd never learn true UI as it's not a new form. He's just using a lesser one with emotions to drive him. So he'd either pull his emotions into MUI making that his True UI, or he'd fall deeper into MUI itself.
