I'm from Leicester and we've always called Ketteringers sheep shaggers, I have no idea why? But everyone in the Midlands has always just called them that for as long as I can remember
I lived in Kettering at one time and apparently there was somebody caught trying to shag a sheep, so don't know if it came from that or not. My mate told me about it, incidentally he came from Leicester.

Omg, I’m constantly amazed by the fact that Susie and Rachel are these incredibly intelligent professionals from the normal version and have agreed to be on the absolute chaos of this show. They do so well though, I love them being equally the straight people who kind of ground everyone and then also just giving it back and playing when they can. They’re a delight!
This was only supposed to be a one-off crossover event. It was so popular they made it into a series. I honestly think they both enjoy getting to do Countdown with hilarious comedians. Both Rachel and Suzie were hesitant to fire back at first, but now they give just as good as they get.
I imagine they enjoy the variety, Susie wouldn't be able to mention brothel sprouts on the normal show for example

What I love about that Glory Hole joke is a) the fact that you can tell it's just so Jimmy Carr's sense of humor. You can tell he came up with it off the cuff. and b) Roisin and Joe's reaction. "Out of nowhere!" "The most unnecessary joke."

In the original, Joe had brought Russian nesting dolls. The doll for Susie was wearing a pair of binoculars. Joe said they were for looking into glory holes. Jimmy was actually making a call back to that and ended up looking brutal.

I've never been one to laugh aloud. It's a rare thing for me. However this show will almost always get me to laugh and certainly raises my spirits on a bad day. I'm quite thankful that clips of this show are on UA-cam as I'd never have known of its existence otherwise.
