Después de tantos años de escuchar éste vals y recordar que mi madre le encantaba bailarlo y cantarlo durante sus años de juventud en los 50's, me doy cuenta que ésta pieza musical fue compuesta por un gran músico y compositor Mexicano Juventino 🌹 🌹 🌹. Es de gran orgullo como Mexicano que soy, que éste hombre de orígenes humildes fuese super dotado con una capacidad increíble para componer melodías tan hermosas como lo es, Sobre Las Olas 〰. La historia de su vida me conmovió tanto que no pude evitar que se me salieran las de San Pedro 😥. A mis 55 años de edad por fin descubro quien fue el gran Juventino Rosas, de quién sólo escuchaba su nombre pero no me daba por investigarlo, ni sabía que fue él quien compuso ese vals que mi madre, quien falleció el año pasado, disfrutó tanto. Muchas gracias por ésta bella interpretación de piano 🙏🙏.
Juventino Rosas compuso este vals cuando tenía 22 años. Juventino murió a los 26 años. Juventino es uno de las más grandes mexicanos que jamás haya tenido México. Se requiere de una exquisita inspiración y una gran alma para componer esta bella obra

splendid melodies remained in the ears of his audiences instantly. You wouldn't guess where he came from. He could have
been a composer from Vienna as well. His CARMEN WALTZ and LIEBESTRAUM are so beautiful as well but his fate is that
just his SOBRE LAS OLAS became a world success. And you play it like a Viennese pianist and demonstrate again that you
have been born to play waltzes. I am very proud of you. Full of admiration. Honestly.
My grandmother played Sobre Las Olas on her piano and I'll remember all my life this song !
I was a young boy and admired the magnificent black lacquered piano.
Since more than 50 years, I have never heard it played so beautifully.

We here in Bombay/Mumbai first heard this piece about 75 years ago when our beloved Music Teacher, Mrs. D'Monte, played this Mexican/Spanish waltz when we were in Kindergarten or Primary School in Bombay, India. Soy profesora pero hacia 45 años que no tocaba el piano y mis hijos me regalaron uno electrónico y entre lo que recuerdo y practico voy adelante.

Ich habe von meinem Vater mal eine Bass-Mundharmonika geschenkt bekommen und dann haben wir zwei immer dieses Lied gespielt.
Das Lied oder Stück, "Über den Wellen" liegt mir sehr am Herzen. Es wird mich immer an meinen lieben Vater erinnern.

Ich wollte dir wirklich sehr danken dass du dieses Video hochgeladne hast. Meine Oma ist 90 und hat Alzheimer, hat ihre Liebe zum Piano spielen totzdem nicht verloren. Zwar spielt sie jetzt nur noch Bruchteile und jedes Jahr wird etwas weniger. Wenn sie schlecht drauf ist geh ich an den Computer und spiel dein Video ab, du muesstets ihr gesciht sehen sie taucht in einer andere Welt ab voller Freunde und summt fliessig mit.

Great performance! I have Mario Lanza ringing in my brain now! My favourite Rosas waltz has to be Carmen, which is quite brilliant, and undeservedly neglected for Sobre las Olas. Poor Rosas, he died young--what a great legacy he could have left had he lived.

Mundo entero: la obra musical magistral compuesta por el gran joven mexicano JUVENTINO ROSAS y su buen amigo y colega músico que se me escapa el nombre !! Aplausos para ti por interpretar a piano la obra de nuestro grande de México JUVENTINO ROSAS quien vivió y murió en la pobreza, y aún hasta nuestros días los músicos, los verdaderos artistas de gran talento para componer e interpretar, siguen mal pagados muchísimos nacidos y criados en
México. El pobre JUVENTINO hasta el piano que le regaló doña Carmelita, esposa de don Porfirio Díaz (satanizado por la masonería que ha controlado los destinos de México y que desgraciadamente ha manipulado a la población contando una falsa historia de los verdaderos héroes mexicanos) tuvo que venderlo para poder comer y pagar la renta. Y por increíble que parezca siguió siendo músico callejero y andaba con una y otra banda musical tocando de pueblo en pueblo, para ganarse la vida. Nomás de pensarlo me dan ganas de llorar por el pesar. Y tan discriminado además por su tez morenita y por su origen nativo sufrió tantas humillaciones al igual que su padre y hermanos también pobres y grandiosos músicos...¡ya lo veo junto a Dios recompensado por su sufrimiento aquí en la tierra y colmado de la riqueza verdadera que dura la eternidad !
