I don’t know why southwest frontier spirit let us choose seat on the plane for free because Americans united Alaska delta don’t allow us choose seat for free
Southwest does not have assigned seating. Frontier and Spirit you don't have to pay for a seat and those airlines assign you a seat at check-in. Those three are low cost or ultra low cost. Or you pay to assign a seat. Alaska, Delta, United have different business models. These last three also offer a basic economy fare where you don't pay for a seat assignment and is given to you at check-in.

Yes they do. Actually, once you get onboard, you can sit wherever you find an open seat.
