This album influenced me for the entire stage of my youth. made me play guitar and i don't even play guitar... or any instrument for that matter. best project album EVER!!! thanks to this album i learnt how to play guitar, bass and drums.
With out Lynn and Snot, we probably wouldn't see half the bands/artists we have today. The hardcore movement birthed late 90's early 00's hardcore and the subsequent years later of post hardcore. Rip Lynn and Dobbs
I love this rather ambitious release which is a complete departure from the brilliant "Get Some"... the diversity occuring happens naturally as the studio cats involved are literally pooring their hearts out with the spirit of Lynn energizing the creativity and going in deep to honor his legacy with the upmost respect.
An old friend of mine died in 2003 and this album helped me a lot to endure the pain. I still think about her, Lynn and all the people gone way too early. 🔥
I was so drunk for this whole period of my life and this album came out in the middle of the drunkest part of it all. It was sooo good. There was so much amazing music about at the time and so much good beer.
It's really a lot to hear singers of bands coming together and expelling their grief for a fellow singer. You listen to their individual songwriting and know they're already going through a lot of pain, and then something like this happens, and to listen to it, just catches you in the throat.
This whole album shows so much emotion from varied artists due to the unfortunate nature of the reason... but MCUD's track is beyond the beyond. It still moves me to this day. Divided is is up there to... Angel's Son (the music video will make the hardest person cry) I could go on and on... Man, never mind. About to listen to the whole thing again after several years. Boop Dobbs' nose Lynn, please and thank you.
R.I.P. Lynn Strait 🙏 u would've taken Snot to heights unimaginable if you were still here btw I love all the bands on this album and they ALL killed it 💯🔥🤟🏼🎸🥁
None of the artists gets paid. It's a compilation album. I'm a musician and are friends with Sevendust etc. Ever since Spotify came out I don't get paid.
According to Facebook this is the best album of numetal times. I'm so glad until today I hadn't heard this. So much better nu metal. Rip to the dude who dead, but thank fuck he can't write anymore music.
had this album as a kid, i played the fuck out of Delta Force and Lords of Magic on PC to this. realistically, more than half the album is wank, just a corporate cash in on Lynn and Dobbs' death. Until Next Time, Divided, Reaching Out, Absent, and Sad Air is the only shit worth listening to on this. edit: i wonder how many times it took that Ozzy vegetable to record his sentence.
How can I find a legit copy of this album? I really want high quality versions of these songs. I can't even find bad quality on most of the sites I search

I grew up seeing all this bands come up today I'm 43 and this album still gives me chils
its amazing how different singers contributed to this album with their unique signature voices
This record is a huge nu metal party!
This album influenced me for the entire stage of my youth. made me play guitar and i don't even play guitar... or any instrument for that matter. best project album EVER!!! thanks to this album i learnt how to play guitar, bass and drums.

Just shows how bad ass Lynn was. There's no other tribute album like this
With out Lynn and Snot, we probably wouldn't see half the bands/artists we have today. The hardcore movement birthed late 90's early 00's hardcore and the subsequent years later of post hardcore. Rip Lynn and Dobbs
The first Snot album is effing good, I played that CD so much it broke, but they weren't the influence you want them to be in my opinion.
Lynn Strait 4 Ever! RIP him and His Dog!
Dobbs is running on the beach with Lynn.
Jason rips on this album easily the best out of them all
Still makes me sad listening to this.
Strait Up Is One Of The Hardest Tribute Album In The Millennium Rock Bands Greats
Rob Woods agreed

hahaha, i was drunk during this period also, it's just funny that someone would outwardly state this on here. Bravo
@@rikrox maybe I was still drunk when I wrote it...20 years later! After all, I was pretty drunk ha ha.
Great album full of great vocalists all paying tribute to one of the most influential yet also underrated vocalists to ever grace hardcore music
Gotta say, Divided is my favorite track on this album just because I love Brandon and Incubus :))
So many legends, Rock Gods! 🤘🏻😍🤘🏻
RIP brother, think of you often but always on our birthdays. Respect and love.
I forgot for a while how sad I was that we only got Absent. Now I remember.
Love this. Takes me right back to 2000
RIP Lynn, i will carry this album for the rest of my life
🤘 Lynn Strait was a real one.
Loved this album when it came out, and to this day, 08/06/19 STILL do
still have this album..brings back memories

This is one of the albums that inspired me to be a musician as well.
I discovered Snot when Lynn did some guest vocals on the song Down by Manhole. It was so sad to find out that he wouldn't live to make a second album.
I love that every picture has his dog/dogs in it!

Funeral Flights- best song Dez has ever done
I am here for “Starlit Eyes” and “Requiem”
All about "Until Next Time" & " Funeral Flights"
I'm Here for Mark McGrath and Fred Durst "Sugar Ray told me life was all about drinkin' "
remember oldy times
Not sure why but , Until Next Time is such a fn Dope song to me. That song made me feel shit back then. The pace... it’s just ridiculous.
Only other dude id get a tatoo in memory for
This album Tony Hawk and family values tour
I think I got a free copy they were handing out at ozzfest 2000. It only had like 3 or 4 songs on it though maybe. Snot was so bad ass.

Those Fred Durst lyrics are total cringe. You could have made an effort Fred. Come on
SNOOOOOOOOOT
snoot?
This is great, but that Fred Durst vocal is doo doo.
his vocals suck FOREVA FOREVA FOREVA FOREVA!!
Name dropping his group on a tribute album.

I always thought Fred sounded good when he was doing metal vocals but that was about it
You are a damn fool. Limp Bizkit Forever. I saw them open for Primus in 1997 at Cain’s Ballroom Tulsa Ok. Top 5 concerts of all time.
One of the most unknown n underated bands ever. So much potential but Lynn left us to soon
