    i saw a documentary about the water of hunza and look it up it has great history ..its simply amazing ,,and just bc of that water i will inshallah visit hunza ..while i live in mardan ,sawabi . i try to buy it it cast 45 euro just 4 ONZ .. that water drinkers has less health problem and long life and they r more beautiful ,..that water actually is 1000;s years old which come from mountain when they melt and its clean crystal . its a madecine i would say.

    In summer foreign tourists especially from European counties overwhelm the local populace. this place is one of worlds bucolic and scenic spots on the foothills of Himalaya.

    its so easy to translate Hunza ,,, go in google translate end write Hundza from albanian to english and you know what is :) , and is not just this name ...also u have Kalash , translate Kala from albanian , and u have Rakaposh mountain (in google tr. write
    " Ra ka posht" ... ) . also u have " Pamir " Land what is mean Nice view

    It is HUN-za, huns-a...r1a1 yes because most of the people have hun gene.

    Does any trace of Buddhism still exist in the Hunza valley or Gilgit region ? If yes, what is their status now ? Can anybody of that area answer ?

      Ravindra Singh Thakur yes, as a historic trade route this area is like a melting pot of cultures, like a history book written in stone. you can still find rock carvings, writings, statues along the Indus, a cultural world heritage.

    This People are Albanians they came with Alexander the Great that was also Albanian his name say aj ka le Ksi Ander says He Born like a dream .. Pamiri means Pamja Mir translate GOOD LOOKING this soldier were maybe good looking .. The Bureshi people says Burr translate Men and hunza says Hune means nose maybe this were his long nose soldiers ..
