My biggest challenge is making mistakes. I often rush and forget to slow down and or overlook general and obvious mistakes. Really frustrating...:/ Even when I try making an effort to not make mistakes I end up making errors that should not be made.
If many of the mistakes you make are on tasks you do multiple times, try using a checklist. Otherwise, you should consider some exercises that will improve your overall attention to detail.
I have that same issue which is wearing on me. The mistakes are so obvious it's like how in the world that I even overlook them? And it's also embarrassing when someone has to point them out to you. I have to get a hold of this. I can definitely agree with number 1 getting more rest. I've found that to be very true but I have a hard time sleeping. Number 2 taking breaks can help improve in this area as well which is one thing I never ever do. And for me I've noticed not assuming something was done when it was done previously. I have to check behind myself. And to not be distracted when I'm doing a task. This is hard for me because distractions come about constantly while I'm working. Which is one of the issues I believe that is causing errors. It's good to know I'm not alone in this as well. I'm often times really hard on myself feeling like I'm the only one in the office making mistakes. I have to learn how to get out of my head.
Just started a new job and it involves a lot of attention detail on documents and corrections. I had a lot of errors and I want to improve it’s only week 3 but I desire to get better
Same it's so annoying I blank out without even noticing I blanked out from thinking too much about something else until the teacher saids alright class any questions on the homework
With my current lifestyle, I definitely abuse my sleep schedule a lot. I tend to extend my breaks too long, but a structured 5 minutes would help me. the last one, I'll have to learn how to balance. With my anxiety, I already over analyze everything I do and how it affects others.
Yep, the lack of sleep thing is a huge issue for me. I'm like a toddler when it comes to sleep - I have FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). I have to stay up and do something; even if it's doing nothing!
Thank you for the advice it works. I do appreciate that you do not take advantage of drow money from people who can not be focused enough, or people in need of your advice.
Omg I’ve always had issues with sleep since I was a little girl and boy has it always affected me. I’m sick and tired of always feeling less at work. I really DO need to get my butt to bed at a decent time!
I think I need to get some extra sleep that’s what it is because not only that, I’m unable to pay attention. I feel like I just zone out every time I watch something.
I feel like somewhere along the way I learned to grab the big points out conversations or situations but miss all the smaller points which come back to bite me. Makes me feel dumb .
Good advice with the exception of the 5-minute break. That does not work so well for all workers, like manufacturing workers. Unless I am missing something.
I'm here because it's getting serious for me guys...I feel like making mistakes over and over again even it's too simple. I feel like I nearly lost my job because of this issue of mine
There could be other factors, I found out my stomach doesn't process vitamins and I have to injections. This guys advice is blaming people for not realizing how our actions effect others...Adhd, dyslexia...lack of a learning environment that allows a person to concentrate...your not alone.
The last comment doesnt work all the time because you can be thinking about "not wasting anyone's time", and "the impact" but you still make those mistakes.
Study what vaccination actually is, it's just a weak germ introduced in the body so the body can easily fight it and develop a defense that can deal when the full strength virus attacks

Practicing mindfulness is another way to increase this skill. Meditate more.
Absolutely! I totally agree and recommend it all the time. Thanks Dracarys!

I work in construction so I get tired really quick. I’m going to try these tips, especially the 5 min breaks. I need to do that.
I love the third tip especially. Thank you! :)

Very simple but helpful tips
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you found them helpful!
I get 10 hour sleeps, they're pretty relaxing and soothing.
Wish my employer understood #3!! My job is in jeopardy because they think I should automatically know the smallest details of my job...,
I do think about the impact I’m having to the point of anxiety. This just pointed out what i already knew. 🤔
Thank you, I found your video very helpful!
Simple... I definitely need to try those tips
Good information, thanks.

Thanks Benjamin.

Thanks, Jose! Absolutely. Not everyone can do that as a break.
Thank you
Been struggling with this when it comes to doing monthly reporting. I thought I did better when there was still issues my boss had to fix! 😢

Is there anything called oversleep because i think that when I sleep too much you don’t fully awake until a bunch of time..
You can't oversleep though, you can't go to office...
I know its been 8 years. Can you please make full course of attention to detail. 1 video full course
I did. It's here: attentiontodetail.com/product/attention-to-detail-certificate-course-2-courses/
Is it immediately or over the course of a week?
Both? Do them every day and you'll see improvements over time (and immediately). Thanks, Hazy.
I struggle a lot. I keep making errors. 😭
Yeah I liked each and everyone 😉
“Take 5minute breaks every hour” 😅 My previous jobs would never allow that
You need to have also breakfast to keep your mind working at its best...
Me watching this on 3 hours of sleep.
Wow
First point is Get more sleep, Me watching this at 12:30am💔😹
Yeah 5 minutes called a cigarette
You don't need a course........meanwhile his course's link pops up saying "Online courses for attentino to detail"
Sorry can you repeat that my mom texted me
Im here because I break things.
For me, it's so bad that I didn't pay attention to this video 😭
The last comment doesnt work all the time because you can be thinking about "not wasting anyone's time", and "the impact" but you still make those mistakes.
Can vaccination damage as a kid destroy that mental processing of attention to detail?
lol
