What is an Asiatic person? I learned that they were the original people of Earth and the formal name of black people, but lately people have been saying that Asiatic is the same as Asian. Can you explain what it is?
It may be assumed that it is a person from 'Asia'. Where that 'Asia' begins or ends for a supposed 17th century treatise could prove much more complex to establish.
