@@DentalEquipmentRepairChannel I agree it's a great business! I'm already working in it in France for 6 years but I'm just starting my own business right now ! Thank you very much for your videos !
The bur can be removed with this tool. It also may be time for a new turbine. Premium handpiece parts is a wealth of knowledge. Just be careful. An improperly maintained handpiece and harm a patient by burning or bur aspiration. premiumhandpieceparts.com/product/stuck-bur-removal-tool/
Great channel! Any tips on how to disassemble a NSK Z95L for a cartridge replacement? The base of this doesn't have the same long slotted screw that the X95L does...
The bearings fail in the turbine/handpiece head. The entire head and possibly part of the transmission must be replaced or rebuilt. Call premium handpiece parts in Texas for help. 😎
Way more elegant than my " Hose it down with WD-40 and dipping the head in the ultrasonic " method !!! AKA my answer to all handpiece problems !! I will try this one next !!
@@DentalEquipmentRepairChannel For cleaning and lubricating tools we are using NSK iCare at our shop, its bit pricy but does its work. Lubricant is not that expensive 2l for around 80€ which lasts pretty long.
Thank you for the content, is there an electric handpiece brand you recommend? I'm torn between Bien air optima, NSK nano, and Kavo electromatic motors.
We are selling NSK and Bien-Air in Czechia. We like NSK better, especially Z series and Nano. They are easier to handle but rotor is quite fragile (but also they have 5 years warranty). Bien Air even Micro series is quite heavy and chunky, but they are almost indestructable. For male dentists I recomment NSK Z/Nano for female Nano series all the way. But if you dont mind heavier handpiece Bien-Airs are good but bit expensive in my country.
I made my first tree interventions last week, just starting my own business. I would love to have such a workshop !
This is a great business. Find a mentor to teach you. Where are you working?

I have a handpiece that had a turbine replaced but now it is very hard to but the bur in. Is there any reason for that? Thanks
Nice information! Do you have any tricks to remove a bur that is broken off at the base of the hand piece and there is nothing to grab?

What is the normal work temperature for a handpiece please? Thank you very much for the tip !
It should not get hot. If it is hot stop using it to avoid burning a patient. Send in for repair.
Hi, can you please show me howe you desassamble NSK S-MAX M65 straight thanks.

@@TomPaur Many thanks for the in-detailed reply, I agree, I'm thinking of going with KAvo Electromatic and NSK Z handpieces.
Great tip! But a carb cleaner is much much better for this purpose as I use it routinely , then lubricated
Interesting! I bet that handpiece tastes interesting during the 1st use. 🤣🤣🤣
