    From single note per bar strumming to four down strokes the key to Justin's lessons is his ability to scaffold each lesson in such a way that gives the player next steps while ensuring they are comfortable where they are. It's very good, to understate it.

      @@Ilaystoller I'm pretty alive as far as I can tell! At that time I was doing an apprenticeship and didn't have the extra money to support people on patreon, last year I finished the apprenticeship and now I do have the extra money :)

      Guitarzero2hero has the actual real version. It’s fun to watch Justin’s takes on songs with capos and open chords. I use these video to teach my daughter simplified versions cause she still working on open chords but if you like playing the song like the artists do go to Guiatrzero. Otherwise to be honest this just sounds kinda wired

    Hey Justin, first of all thanks for these great lessons. You've been accompanying me for the last 4 months and I'm almost through all the beginner classes.
    What helped me most was the clear categorization of songs in difficulty levels. How come you are not doing that anymore?

    Strumming pattern same as "Horse with no name', but faster, works pretty well.

    Great lesson Justin! This was a fun one to play along with the record!! I recently found you through the Anderton's Rut Busters and it has really launched me into rabbit hole of theory and ear training. I am trying to work out Still Feel Like Your Man by John Mayer and would love to see what you come up with and if I am on the ball or not. Can't wait for more from you!

      Maybe you should check out the website of justin. He has an excellent free beginner course. Practice the basic chords and changes between them and come back to this lesson when you have mastered this.

    Great - I actually prefer this version to how CM plays it on Stern, that's too hipster singer song writery for me. Much prefer this unpretentious clean more country/folky sound.

      CM sings it an octave higher but I can't even get close without sounding like a strangled cat!

    None of the tutorials I've seen have the last chord in the chord progression right. The last two chords seem messed up to my ears when compared with the actual song

      Everett Sanchez try re tuning or make sure your not muting any of your string. And maybe you need a capo or as dumb as this sounds maybe your not strumming the right strings.
