‘The Walking Dead’ Star Tom Payne Teases Jesus’ Fate, Future Gay Storylines

- The last time we saw Paul “Jesus” Monroe on “The Walking Dead,” he was exiting a truck to avoid capture by the Saviors. Tom Payne, the actor who plays him, gave us some hints about where he might turn up on Sunday’s midseason finale.
“Right now, I’m not on top of the truck - which is the last place you saw me,” the British actor told TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell. “Unless I added very, very fast running to my résumé, I’m probably somewhere around the Sanctuary right now.”
Payne also said he’s open to seeing Jesus explore his homosexuality, given that the character is gay in the comic book series.

I can sympathize with you, because you are only 15 and have had to grow up in a world where religious and societal doctrine decrees that love and affection between men or women is "less than". I very much hope that you learn to think independently and come to your own conclusions. When I was 15 I was struggling with a world I thought wanted me dead because I'm only attracted to the same sex as myself. It was something that I fought and rejected and didn't want to be a part of me. I wanted to be a part of what society deemed acceptable and be a valued member of the human race. I then realized that nothing about my sexual orientation was going to change, but that I could still be accepted by society if they saw how bloody normal I really am. So I slowly accepted myself as I was made to be. Luckily for me, in the past 10 years society has made huge strides to becoming more understanding and friendly towards same-sex attracted people. There has been a long history of acts that are far more messed up than two people being in love. Take, for example, Iran. A 15 year old boy can be thrown off a tall building to his death for being born same-sex attracted. t
That is if he is lucky. There are far more grizzly ways in which we are treated across the world. If you want to talk about messed up, think about having super glue stuck up your ass and being forced to shit out your own bloodied bowels as a punishment for how you were born because of a society that deems you less than human. The change starts with you. Or you could equally oppose us. Your choice.

ZlyGo ... and no. Daryl is way too badass for Jesus. I personally am not a fan of Jesus' character in the Walking Dead. Daryl is super cool and it would be pretty lame if he got it on with Jesus. The show Creator's have confirmed that Daryl won't be portrayed as sexually attracted to men. I think the comic leaves it open to speculation. It wouldn't make sense for the TV show to fill in the blanks. I like Daryl's mystery. Having him with Jesus would kill that vibe for me.
