I have been watching your videos for quite some time now and you impress me with the machinery you have and the skills you and your men have running them. This new skid steer is simply amazing how much power and push it has. POWER is good.
I was between this and my CAT that I just purchased this June. I went with my CAT. The biggest dislike of this machine for me was the door, the delay on parts at times (if needed) and more importantly the local dealer (for me) seemed shady, kept changing prices, and called me none stop. Rubbed me the wrong way.
I learned the hard way with John Deere. Now I shop after the sale service just as much now as I do brand. I have an 870 but I am switching to cat to get quicker better service.
I think if it wasn't for my dedication to cat machines, I would buy that skidsteer just off of your video. It seems to push great, it looks good, and I don't have anything against them so why not
having moved to Texas from Australia I was very surprised that skid steers and back hoes generally don't seem to come with 4 in 1 buckets...! Loader buckets are very restrictive..
Ok it does have ride control, weight 12,705 , horse power 111, load capacity 4107 They went through the whole machine and its as good as it gets. Looked at the specs and it bad ass. Shit what do you say.
God damn boy, HEAT & AIR niceee. I'm still using my 90's 1845c your body and face are covered in dust by the end of the day, can't tell who gets dirtier me or the machine lol.
The only thing I don't care for just from observing this machine is the loose, exposed hydraulic hoses. They're just draped from the bucket to the arm and can get caught on anything and ripped off, then you're down. Not just this machine, but any that has exposed hoses anywhere outside the envelope of the machine. The only one I know of (I am sure there's more) that has rigid pipe tucked onside the arms and has enclosed hoses is the Bobcats. All their stuff is very well thought out. Even Cat has too much exposed hoses.
awesome machine. and takeuchi just came out with the tl10v2..... i think i may lean towards this, since it will be easier to haul and manuver around sites.
PRETTY NICE MACHINE. I am stuck with my ASV, and like where I am stuck. It does what I need it to do. owned a bunch of bobcats an it seams that the electronics in those are crap and had to get rid of them.
I've got a 2015 TL10 and the only two things I don't like about the machine is the fact that the windows are not adjustable and it doesn't have cup holders and they solved both of those problems! You guys gunna trade your TL12 towards one of those?
I've heard most of those lesser known equipment brands are made in the same factories of the big name brands, is Takeuchi made in the Cat plant or is it Bobcat? I can't remember which I just remember Hitachi was the same as Deere, cause when ur fixin it your buyin JD parts
Hi Chris good to see you post, it looks like some of NC is going to get a kicking from The storm, is that going to be close to you ?, if so good luck :). I guess as you are trying this machine you are trying to use it like a D6 Cat to see what it will actually do. Maybe thats why some say it seems under powered. It looks to me like some of that dirts wet heavy stuff it's moving and doing ok for a skid steer.
It would be a pretty poor worn out 6 if it wouldn't push that lot L.O.L. in it's place a skid steers a great machine with the tools it has, but so many try to use it for way to much and it becomes jack of all trades master of non for it's size. I'd do like Chris if I was demoing it, find out if it's got a big heart and balls for what they use it for. Or is it just an over price toy for the kiddies play day in the sand box.
Chris, love the videos you post. I was wondering why you have a Takeuchi over a Volvo, Cat, or a John Deere skid steer? Were there certain preferences you were looking for in a skid steer?
Charles Dowdie he probably choose the takeuchi because majority of thoose skidsteers dont have any saftey switches. You just throw the bar down and go. Also it is probably the roll up door
Hey Chris did you buy this new machine or you just demoed it pretty impressive I like the sliding glass door that goes up over your head I said the Kabota but once you put the door up in the Kabota cab if you want to run with the door up you could look up the review mirror and Kabota's instruments Rall behind your yard is turning around like a looking in the backseat wasn't impressed with the machine at all... if you were 300 pound or the cabin the Kabota you could sit you and your girlfriend in it like sit in the front seat of an old Buick wasn't that impressed and didn't like the hand controls that was a handful I take that back I can't do the left right up-and-down back-and-forth on one side like the cat I can't do that I'm gonna hold the hand control part bobcat guy or like case get back to me I want to know if you want to or you're dumb on it thanks Chris junkman do
Mahoney Boy aparently. There like the only machines that don't come back broken from the rental places!? Something to think about. Not just about pure power always
Quick moving little minx. But it don't steer like a quad though. Never heard of Takeuchi before. But then again, in Texas they got Bobcat, Ditch Witch, Waukesha/Pierce, CAT, oh and Deere. But one hardly sees any Volvo unless some Yank hauls one in from out of state.

Track machines litteraly are better in every situation but I'd I mean unless you have a situation where speed matters or job site is large and the wheeled machine is a little faster
Ernest Hughes I've tried them on ice. You literally can't get them out of their own footprint. A wheeled machine can be chained up, and will laugh at ice.
I agree that wheeled machines are better on ice. But do keep in mind you can put studs in the tracks, and they help immensely. We have a Takeuchi that we use in the winter time and we ended up having to put studs in the tracks to get it to do anything.
How well would this do leveling large stone used as filler and filtration on a site being brought up to level? I'd like to rent a machine to do a property I have a chance to get, I need to haul in stone to help bring it up to the same grade as the main roadway that goes by it. To haul in the gravel I would need would be expensive without raiding the farmers rock piles for stone fill.
Yes the land I am looking at is all dirt, and no hot top. I am getting ready to do a controlled burn of the existing structure on the property as it is unsafe and could fall in at anytime this winter. Where the Structure sits it needs to come up 6 and a half feet too be even with the roadway. And its a gradual slope.
well I just wasted 11 minutes of my life watching dirt get pushed around. no price. no horsepower. no torque. to lifting capacity. no max lifting height. no weight. no length, width. no fuel run times. well at least it can move dirt. kinda like my shovel. 👎👎👎👎👎
No matter the brand, it’s a treat to see an operator with some decent skills.
Andrew camarata's lasted video commented about this machine, his bobcat failed and he is fed up. He looking to upgrade.
I don't see him paying $50K+ for a used Takeuchi TL12 V2.
@@mlhm5 said he needs wider tracks too. I will suggest to him a case tv380, as i love mine
@@austinhammett1651 He bought a used IHI 35
AW MAN DUDE I LOVE ANDREW CAMARATA'S VIDEOS! AND letsdig18s too.
Andrew camarata will never buy a 2019..he don't need to he can fix everything himself
I have been watching your videos for quite some time now and you impress me with the machinery you have and the skills you and your men have running them. This new skid steer is simply amazing how much power and push it has. POWER is good.
One of these pulled me out of the mud when I was driving a tandem dump truck. This Skid Steer is a beast. Very roomy inside also.
That backup beeper can be put on a switch to turn it off when you're on private land jobs...
Or just unplug the damn thing! Lol
Don't need a bulldozer when you've got that piece of machinery !

I have used one of those for about 3 weeks, and it will move some dirt no problem , I like it better than a bobcat, thanks for sharing!
Pretty impressive machine, that company has come a long way!
That's got one hell of a howl to it, reminded me of the time I forgot to put gear oil in a Rover Metro's gearbox.
The sound of money being made
That thing makes my 2001 John Deere 250 look like an antique. Which can be a good thing, the amount of electronics on that thing must be crazy.
An upstate New York contractor brought me here. I never heard of this brand
Takeuchi rules the 0-12 tonne excavator market in Europe
They're common here in Michigan.
They are who started ctl's. They are the pioneers of ctl
argghh the beeping noise
@Leopold I like that attitude
Got a headache just listening for a few minutes.... can't imagine how Chris feels by the end of the day... think I would try and find that one wire!!
Love my svl95 but man does this thing push. Looks like it was worth the investment
If it anywhere near as smooth and responsive as there 360's, i imagine that's a joy to operate and if it's as reliable as the 016 it'll go forever.
I think if it wasn't for my dedication to cat machines, I would buy that skidsteer just off of your video. It seems to push great, it looks good, and I don't have anything against them so why not
Lol cat Skidsteers are trash dude
Excellent machines . I owned ran worked on many brands. These are excellent. But of course CAT rules in parts service.
Most powerful skid steer ive ever run. And I've run em em all.
Wow, quite a bit of power, impressive! Smooth operation.

Andrew bought an IHI CL 35 which I think is parts from 13 different machines but it sure smells like a Takeuchi!!
very impressive, it really did push good. You would think they would offer ride control. Or may they do.

Looking at doing the same move. Never see 4in1s in the states. They don't know what they are missing out on

By the way 4 in1 buckets are awesome, I agree. And also, I’m from Arizona and All the Aussies I’ve met love it here.
That's quite a fast little machine very impressive

thats a cool skid steer dude if i were to have one i would dig n dig and push dirt all day long man

impressive little machine. at this duty cycle, what is the expected track life?
Nice new Takeuchi high flow skid steer, very fast awesome Chris 😂😛💥
nice machine Chris i wish you all the best with it !!
Fast to get there butttttt ,,,A three yard front end loader one pass done. But all in all there is a place for these little guys
awesome machine. and takeuchi just came out with the tl10v2..... i think i may lean towards this, since it will be easier to haul and manuver around sites.
That's a very unusual sounding street sweeper
so efficient with that thing..
Is it really quiet enough in there to listen to music? The Cats I've operated required ear plugs!
a new cat? seem like they run around 80ish decibels
About 10 years ago - it was pretty quiet for the time.
Not a bad machine if ya can keep tracks on it and like some noise in the cab
GOOD MACHINE LOVE THE BUCKET.
looks like it pushes good but I like the John Deere 333, at least I can properly pronounce the name of the damn thing LOL
chase5726 hell a Deere’s a Deere! I’m personally a NH guy. But maybe I’ll try a JD skid one day.
Would a small dozer do this work better? I don't know. What do you think?
Do tracks ever give you a hard time? Like replacing coming off etc etc?
hey Chris what motor dose that Lil feller got in it? and how many ponys?

that's a great loader I need one of those

Are you going ho buy this and the Ec220

They are their own company and build their own equipment.
Takeuchi makes there own machines
Actually, I think their wheeled skid loaders are made by ASV. Only their tracked skidders are made by Takeuchi.

That thing can move out in reverse.
treat it like a rental
Nice job.
That's a scrappy tractor!
Seems very underpowered.
Yikes, where the dozer guy...? sheesh
Nice video
You ever thought about getting a cat? They are nice
he has one at home. Ink its name tho. it doesn't like to work.
it sounds like it's electric and a little weak, T770 would eat that thing for breakfast lol

Track machines have their place, but they're useless on ice. You need wheels with chains for that.
