Actually its the other way around. They're from Kinmoku where it was implied that they were girls full time. Their civilian disguise on Earth was the male form and their true form is female (I think their Princess implied it in some episode)

well takeuchi naoko created them as women in drag in the manga, that was her vision and that is what i accept as cannon because she created it. also censorship is stupid...
