Oh damn, you noticed the sukhois. Yes, India gets majority of it's fighter jets from Russia. The Russian Military and Indian Defence Force do joint research and therefore we use the russian jets. We just ordered 36 french Rafale which are supposed to be delivered soon.

Advanced capability will be provided by Rafale and then AMCA after 2032.

I am a Doctor in India and during my days as an intern in our college hospital I had the privilege of serving the wife of an Indian Army soldier. He came to the hospital at the time of his wife's discharge. I thanked him and asked him for his autograph. He was happy and surprised at my request. I was over the moon. It was an honor meeting him and getting the chance to do serve his family.

Sukhoi MKI is not Russian made. It's manufactured in HAL Bangalore.. The I in MKI stands for India
@@ajayv9039 I know it's currently assembled at HAL . I repeat assembled. IT'S not completely indegenous some of the components are manufactured in India but You have to consider that Sukhoi is Russian and almost 80-85% of its components are imported including the engine from Russia, and the most important "technology" is controlled and manufactured by Russia. Hence u can't say its made in India . Countering your argument MKI is just the version for India similarly mkm for Malaysia and mkc for China and most importantly we buy these from Russia through HAL.

the army,navy,ndrf and various such teams are always on duty because every year, there are floods happening everywhere here and when the whole city is going down, they are always there to protect us... respect for them is too high ❤️ recently a city kolhapur went down on floods, but the people rescued, later celebrated the rescue operations by tieing rakhi(which raises brother sister bonding) to the men in uniforms

We have used British fighter jet, russian fighter jets and french as well. MiGs, jaguars, sukhois, mirage. Now, we have brought in a few AH64 Apache as well as chinooks. Moreover, India has built its own fighter aircraft named "tejas". And India and France have signed a contract for supplying 36 rafale jets.
Those are the sukhoi 30mki's....front line fighters for the Indian air force...the most maneuverable aircraft in the world capable of dodging more than a couple Amrams in one paricular strike on record...assembled by HAL in india..cheers

Sukhoi 30 was procured from Russia initially but now manufactured in India under the name Sukhoi MKI... That goes for MIG21, MIG23, MIG25, MIG27 and MIG 29 as well
Sukhoi 30 MK is the russian fighter jet. When India purchased it it made some changes and now possesses Sukhoi 30 MKI where I stands for India.
Indian airforce fleet consist of Russian and french mostly. But recently it has started inducting American flights too.
