    Silver and burgundy two-tone would look fantastic on that ride.

    Fantastic. I have to paint my '29 coupe and this gives me ideas of how to go about it. I love the "stop frame" shots of lug nuts. Get that creativity where you can

      Ah thank you! That took a lot of work haha. Best of luck with the '29!

    I've got a 71 Pontiac ventura that I bought from a junkyard for$200. I'm slowly working on it. Like you i dont have a lot of money. I've got the front disks off of a 71 elcamino I am planning on putting on. Love you're videos

      @@RustedRides I've had mine since 2021. It was a Fordor Town Sedan. However the body is mostly a wood frame with sheet metal nailed to it unlike the coupe you worked on. So, I scrapped the body from behind the cowl and am currently doing a Huckster Woody Build.

      @@kensmithgallery4432 That sounds awesome! It also sounds like a lot of work haha, but that really is half the fun. I might even like building/fixing more than driving...maybe

      You are right, black always looks good and even cars that are not interesting or exciting can look better in black. And as far as wheels, you are not wrong, especially since this Model A was kept with more of an original look. These wheels would suit a Model A that had a chop and a hot rod paint color. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

    Make the floor wet when you paint. And why dont you Buff and polish against dust ?

    • @RustedRides
      @RustedRides  10 місяців тому

      Wetting the floor can sometimes mess up the humidity in the shop since we also have the furnace going good too. So that moisture and the heat means the humidity can get a little weird with the paint. And yes a buff and posish will get rid of dust nibs and smooth things out more. But paint needs to be a little more cured first.

      Every time I drive to work, or drive to my parents house, I drive past a place that has an early 70s red firebird sitting on the property. Doesn't look bad from a far, but it's been there a long time and I don't know what the owner has planned for it. I might have to pop in sometime and find out 🤞
