Vivaldi's Four Seasons has long been one of my favorite classical pieces. I heard this last night and absolutely loved it. The "quotes" from Vivaldi, and the clever homage to Pachabel are wonderful. The song would no doubt be just as amazing if it was 100% Piazzolla, but as it was written it demonstrates a sophisticated humor of sorts, a tribute to past greats. If more people heard a variety of different "classical" pieces, symphonies, concertos, sonatas...and gained insight into the inspirations for those pieces, more people might appreciate and enjoy it today.
Bravo! I could listen to this all day...brought tears to my eyes...praying for the war in Ukraine to end, and for all the people who are suffering. With love from Singapore.
I listen to this often. I got into Astor Piazzola's work a few years ago. He writes such beautiful music, and these mucisians did fantastic. Beautifully done!
Always Winter is my favorite. My life favorite of Piazzolla. Thank you soooooo much for sharing this awesome video. These guys are awesome! No need 50 pcs orchestra!
I always feel like the coda is Piazzolla paying respect to Vivaldi’s 2nd movement in Winter. Both feel like the warmth near the fireplace during the long, dark, cold winter.
Não me canso.
Wow wow wow!! It is very unusual for foreigners to interpret as locals but these guys have achieved the incredible.I lived in Buenos Aires part of my life and I can assure that Piazzola's music is the sondtrack of the city. Well Done!! Greetings from Sydney.
I was lucky to choose this option among the various ones that the UA-cam random showed me. I'm a fan of Piazzolla and I'm always surprised by the number of impeccable and great versions that swarm the net and this is no exception. A fantastic interpretation with arrangements of the great Bragato with whom I had the pleasure of briefly chalaring many years ago on the occasion of a reminder event to Astor that we made in my city, Mar del Plata, shared with Piazzolla. CONGRATULATIONS FOR SO BEAUTIFUL 26 MINUTES.
I think "Primavera Porten ̃o" really feels like spring. It feels the unique bouncy feeling of spring and the brightness and grandeur that marks a new beginning, making it feel even more like spring. I've slowed down in Verano Porten ̃o I'm very impressed with how fast it got faster. As a result, it is a song that reminds me of summer because I feel the freshness and greenness of summer. Each instrument has a solo part, so it's good to focus more on music Invierno Porten ̃o feels something soft and magnificent and just like winter, but the violin was perfect for expressing the soft part. At the end of the song, I felt as if several instruments were being played, and toward the end of the song, the music slowed down slowly and I felt as if it was spring
In the Oton ̃o Porten ̃o, if it's warm in the beginning and leaves are flying, it gives a warm feeling toward the middle, and then goes to the second half and a strong note that seems to get cold makes it feel like it's moving from summer to autumn and now winter
Oh…. That’s my favorite parts❤❤ I never forget thats’ part😂😂 Especially, summer’s part was crucial…. So I love that’s violin voice… I didn’t think classical tango before watched this video..❤
what an amazing and marvelous interpretation with a stunning intonation. As a cellist, Mr. Tsypkin's intonation has really blowed my mind!..Thanks for sharing.
I run across this magnificent, passionate and beautiful work when I was 9 years old by my mother's old handy radio. Listeninig radio was only the way I find music (classic) that I do not know at that time. I do remember I was so shocked because four seasons that I knew was only vivaldi's one, I did not understand the music of Astor Piazzola then, but as I studied the piano and violin I found how wonderful his music is❣️ Now, I am big fun of him and have several CD of his works and also scores. If I did not listen to the radio and if my parents let me learn instrument, I might not know this great composer. I do appreciate my parents and cannot live without music for sure!!! Any way, thank you for uploading this fantastic performance, I will listen to this tomorrow too! 🎶 I belive the power of music is one of the most amazing things in my life!!😻
I had same experience as there was always music at my parental house: classical, jazz, tango, folk..., I grew up loving music. Enjoying and understanding Piazzolla is a matter of maturity, musically speaking. I love him, he was a revolutionary of our tango.. Regards from Buenos Aires!
I am very happy to receive your lovely message and glad to hear that you sympathized what I feel about music :)! I hope you spend great time with tons of beautiful music from now on!! I wish I could have friend someone who is sensitive, also loves music from the bottom of heart like you! Gracias! 😊
Yes great pro musicians. Love the piano tune because I was raised as a classical (amateur) pianist / improvisator... Love Adios Nonino by piano duo Karin Lechner & Sergio Tiempo.

This is how Piazzolla should be played......with passion!
Yes but also with a permanent rhythm sometimes it is too slow in my opinnion but though very very good love it
Gracias¡¡¡
