Oh Stephanie, this has been such an emotional and heartfelt story. I really feel your Mom was behind this meeting with our legacy crafter. I'm 67 years old and still have my 92 year old Mom. I was so emotionally involved when you spoke of your Mother and how this wonderful woman has warned up to you as. Mother figure. It must have been such a difficult time losing your Mother the one we go to when we need advice. However, we can't change what's to be in life, and you strike me as a very strong and determined woman yourself. I guess I loved all the dies and stamps most. I wish I had some but I am not in a good financial position to purchase much. What I do have I cherish even more now because crafting is my life I wouldn't be able to give mine up. Thanks for sharing this video especially since it was a time for us to get to know the most generous woman I've ever heard of. 🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️
Aww thank you. I'm so happy you still have your mother, I know it's hard when things get difficult but you'll miss them so much when they're gone! It's hard not having her, but her advice has always been to follow my heart and follow my dreams, so I know whatever decision I make she would be proud of me. She left me an incredible letter, I didn't really explain it properly in the video but she believed in me more than anything and I always have those words with me anytime I'm scared to try something new. She left a huge impact on me. I understand about the stamps and dies, they can get really pricey. I didn't have many myself until I opened the store, now I get to keep ones that make me happy and I can't wait to use more of them. I'm doing a cardmaking video soon for my Patrons so keep an eye out!! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and feel the love from our legacy crafter as well 🥰
literally laughing at myself... because I thought that there was *new BOB* in every bin... I did not know he was the same tomato.. lmao... I was thinking you were getting quite a ton of bobs... lol
I'm super organized and have about as much stuff as the legacy crafter if not more. I use a label maker. I've been enjoying the unbinning and seeing Bob. ❤
She really is incredible and I'm glad I get to share part of her story with you all. The bins are like a treasure hunt everyday, I absolutely love sharing them with you all!
Great story of your connection with the legacy crafter! I can totally identify with her and her love of collecting and creating. I'm sure it's wonderful knowing that she appreciates how you have handled her legacy and shared with all of us and the crafting community. I know how I have benefitted from some of her collection. I look forward to each new bin and the treasures it holds.
Thank you so much! Yes I'm so happy with how everything turned out, not only did we get an amazing collection, but we made an even more amazing friend. It's funny how life works sometimes and I feel so grateful for everyone I meet. Thanks so much for watching, I can't wait to check out the next bin with you all!
Thank you so much! I will send her lots of love. I appreciate YOU watching and commenting, it helps keep me motivated to keep making videos. I love this little community we're building 🥰
I’ve loved every detail of this series but as an older woman myself I did think there must be a better and more respectful way to refer to your Legacy Crafter. She truly did have the most amazing collection. I’m glad that you got to meet the enablers. They sound so fun! I’m glad that you had such a lovely connection with The Legacy Crafter right from the beginning. How special. By the way I’ve watched each video of this series but I sure wont be popping in anytime soon as I’m in Calgary, AB, Canada. Keep up the amazing work. Your community must be so grateful for you. 🤗🇨🇦🤗
I'm so glad you're enjoying the series!! I'm so happy I met her, it's definitely left an impact on me for life. I'm so happy to be building this community here on UA-cam too and so glad you're a part of it!
There is a cross stitch youtuber that does something similar. People reach out to her with a deceased stitchers stash or if someone can no longer stitch and she will buy their stash to sell in her online store. It is such a good idea to get the supplies to people who really want them and not just sending them to goodwill. They go someone who really will use the items and appreciate them.
Thank you Stephanie for answering all the questions. Our Legacy crafter is a beautiful kind lovely lady and that is why she connects with you. I think your mum may have sent her to you. I look forward to seeing Bob in all the bins.
Aww thank you for the kind words and for watching, we're happy to have you as part of our journey! I really think my mom sent her too. I miss her so much!
I love this series and have shared it with friends, who are also amazed by it. Lots of love to both you and the legacy crafter for this incredible collection and the story. My favorite items are the markers and the vintage craft supplies. The unboxing is a crafting history lesson in the evolution of the process. It warms my heart.
Thank you so much for sharing the series! I'm so happy you're enjoying watching. It keeps me motivated to make more videos. The markers have been so much fun, and there's so much more coming too. Aww your comment made my day!! 🥰
Oh my gosh that is so me also--when you said all about “saving the good stuff etc”. I am definitely trying to use all the “good stuff” instead of saving it. Nice to know someone else felt this way. Love love love your series!!!
Talking about your mom it brought tears to my eyes. I lost my mom 16 years ago. She was only 60. She sends me signs all the time. Your business is amazing. I wish we had something like this where I live. Would love to craft with you sometime. Your video series is great and inspiring. Look forward to more of your crafting and organizing videos.

I'm so sorry you lost your mom as well, it never gets easier and we always miss them. I'm sending lots of love your way!! I really do think my mom arranged for the legacy crafter and I to meet, it's been great getting to know her and hope I can chat with her again soon. I wish you could visit too! Maybe someday 🥰
I’m pretty sure that Brushos are dry pigments as are Lindy’s Gang shakers. They are activated with water either on a substrate before sprinkling the pigments on top or spraying after . The pigments then move and spread making beautiful backgrounds
I watched you stream for years on twitch! This story is so amazing and touching too! I teared up a bit watching because a few years ago I also lost my mom but I just wanted to say Ive been loving watching this #unbinning series and can't wait to see more! You're doing such an awesome job with your store :) Keep it up!
Heyy!! So nice to see you here. I'm sorry you lost your mom too, sending lots of love. I'm glad you're enjoying the series and we can reconnect, it means a lot to me!!
The legacy crafter feels like my kindred spirit, being interested in so many different crafts. I was introduced to crafting by my mom, now gone for more than half my life. Watching the unbinning series makes me think the legacy crafter (LC for short) is someone my mom would have loved. LC's organization is inspiring me to get my supplies in order as well. I would love to make a birthday card for LC, if the idea of sending to the store (as mentioned in another comment) is workable. She is a reason to get out the prettiest paper and the best techniques for sure.

I'm sorry your lost your mom too and I'm sending lots of love. The organization really has been so nice to see, definitely inspiring to me and I can't wait to organize my collection more soon! Definitely feel free to send a card for her to the shop (info in the description) and I'll forward it along 🥰
@@bottomofthebin_ Thanks for the love. I'm older now than my mom ever got to be, watching my kids graduate (the kids she never knew), and Mother's Day approaching, it's a lot. I can't wait to start making LC's card! Thanks for agreeing to forward it!
Love that you followed up with her and all the questions. Such a wonderful, god affirming story! Love the BOB Bottom of the Bin connection….clearly just meant to be! I truly hope she is feeling all the love and support we have for her as well as you. Just warms my heart.😊
I’ve been making cards for 8 years and I have almost 1000 stamp sets! I’ll be 80 in 25 years. Wonder how big my collection will be? I ended up buying an iPad and using an app called Airtable to keep track of my stamps. When I get a new set I type in all the words and images and take a photo and then place them in a numbered bin so I can find what I’m looking for.
Wow, that's quite a collection!!! I'm not nearly there yet but it's definitely adding up. It's so hard, especially with having a store now, not to hoard everything. I'm excited to get some time soon to make some more cards for my Patrons so keep an eye for that video coming soon. You have a great systme, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this video. I love that we got to learn a little bit more about the legacy crafter. Wouldn't it be wonderful if she could come to your studio and maybe teach us one of her crafts? I think we should all send her a birthday card for her 80th birthday (sent through you of course). Is that something you would be willing to forward to her?
I'm not sure she could make it to the store because she's out of state now. I love the idea of sending her a card. Feel free to send one to the shop (info in the description) and I'll forward them along to her. You're so sweet! 🥰
How can a craft supply video make me cry? Well, you did it. Enjoying getting to know you and the "legacy crafter" as well as your business. I miss my Mom too, with her creativity and love. 💟 🦋
aww you're so sweet. Thanks for being here and being part of our journey. Sending lots of love to you as well. It's really hard not having our moms here, I miss mine every day too!
The legacy crafter sounds like a lovely lady. I hope she can visit the store and we can meet her sometime. Bob is a great mascot for Bottom of the Bin. ❤️🇨🇦
Thank u Stephanie. I just about freaked out when I heard u live in Seminole, Florida. I used 2 live in Largo, Florida until I got married & moved 2 Oregon. This has been an awesome series. Thank u so very much. Have a great, blessed night.
LOL, I watched this while coloring with some of my Artisto colored pencils. I too have an huge supply of everything and I am actively trying to use as much as I can while I still can.
I totally understood what you meant even before you interjected in the video trying to explain that you couldn’t explain it. I got goosebumps as well. I’m pretty excited about this connection. I’ve enjoyed the series and I sort of feel like I know this lady too through her stuff and through her organizing, by the way, I’m in Denver Colorado. Instead of Elf on the Shelf you’ve gained Bob in the Bins and duh, Bottom of the Bin (B.O.B) is another one of those behind the scenes/ goosebump things that’s happened since the beginning of this story.
Aw thank you. The whole thing really has felt serendipitous, from the connection to my mom, to Bob! I'm just happy I get to share with such amazing people like you and I love this community we're building here. Thanks for being part of it 🥰
I have a lot of crafting items also. I have been crafting for over 30 years and my grandkids will have to get rid of it when I'm gone. I will probably continue to purchase things because I can't see that changing. EVER!
Fun video to get some answers about this collection. It would be so awesome to actually get to meet the lady that owned all of these wonderful supplies. You should watch a few veggie tale videos and get to know your friend Bob! He and his veggie friends teach bible story values in a fun way! Looking forward to the next bin!!!!
I wish you could meet her too but unfortunately she's out of state now. Maybe someday!! Yes I'll definitely have to check out VeggieTales to see where Bob originates from. Thanks for watching! New bin tomorrow! 🥰
Great video and history about the lady whose collection you adopted. Would love to know if we can all send her a birthday card. Maybe we can mail the cards to you and then you can pass them along to her.
It definitely sounds like your mom had a hand in you meeting the legacy crafter. Your mom was always sweet and supportive of you through all your business adventures, and I know you had a lot 😅
KATIE!!! Yes I really think she did too, it didn't really hit me until I was editing that it was my mom speaking to me. Everything she said mimicked the letter she wrote me when I started my first store and I felt like it was her saying 'I see you did it and I'm proud of you!'
@@bottomofthebin_ most people get a visit from birds or butterflies, but your mom is visiting you through this lady. I think that is why you have a strong connection with her. It's your mom ❤️
When I shared a home with my cousin, she had one of those sketch doll things, and we would hide it for each other to find. It was a lot of fun coming up with new places to hide him.
I actually "found" you a while ago on Face Book Market Place, (I'm so addicted to it. It's been a Fantastic place for me to find wood mounted rubber stamps, my weakness!) and was So bummed to learn you were near Tampa. While I am in Florida and really not that far, (Outside of Orlando) I can't drive, so can't easily get to you. I found you again yesterday as one of the unbinning videos showed up in my, "you may like" section. It was right, I'm enjoying them So much and in a short amount of time I'm already on video 34. :P I've seen several things I would love to have purchased but am not able to... such a tease! ;) Lol. I'll keep watching though. So happy for you for this Amazing find!
Aww I'm so happy we reconnected. We plan to open stores closer to you so keep an eye out! In the meantime check out our ebay to have items shipped to you 🥰 Link in the description!
I am from Kentucky, but I came to your store last month for the first time because we are still birds there and the light fall and winter time and the Lakeland area. I was very impressed with your store and I’m loving your videos. I just wish I knew when you had open because we were there at Lakeland that year too, I would’ve been coming there some too! And I’m loving that you talked about the Lord at times Lord Lord Jesus Christ it is so awesome for someone to have a business like this for people that live off a disability or have other financial needs can get crafting stuff and not have to pay the ridiculous prices in the stores they could just come there!!! Also finding out that you all take stuff and give us credit I love that idea too! Thank you for having a store like that. I just wish we had one here in Kentucky like that and I’m sure other people wish they had one in their own state too have you ever thought about, merging out and being an entrepreneur for this kind of other states??? Just something for you to think about is a young woman in the business world I know it would go over well in each state because so many independent crafting stores have shut down the pop ones and I hate that, you again God bless you and your business!!!
Oh, and most importantly, I have forgot to let you know that we are looking for RV spots closer to you are so that I could shop your store even more lol
Your comment made me so happy! I'm so glad you got to visit us and that's so awesome that you want to get a spot closer to us. You have no idea how much I appreciate the support!! I do hope to expand north a bit with Tampa next and then towards Lakeland, and then maybe one day across some other states too. Thanks for wishing me well!! 🥰
I enjoy watching you and your videos of this wonderful collection. Thanks for sharing and I will keep on looking at the items you have posted on eBay for purchase.
Wish I could of done this in 😊Hawaii because I am like this lady. Always wanted a store but couldn’t afford it 😞. I tried har🎉d with my mothers but didn’t happen. Now trying to organize what I have but it’s so much and being movement channeled it’s so hard . Know what my grandfather and elderly friends at Castle when I worked on the elderly care unit as a Candy Stripper which they don’t have no more or it’s called something else. But the has hard time but mind works that’s my obstacle and why I’m so an organized. Thank you Stephanie for doing this and burning series and I pray that that lady has a wonderful rest of your life and create more said she loves creating. I haven’t bought No paper crafting supplies this year. I am kind of proud of myself. I stop doing step it up and everything and using my stash.
Aww I wish there were more stores like this all over. Hopefully one day we can be the one grow across the country! I'm glad you're enjoying the series. Thanks for watching and sharing part of your life with us too. Sending you lots of love!! 🥰
@@bottomofthebin_ You know Stephanie that was one of my dreams to open a craft store secondhand and stuff because I had so much I could’ve sold a lot but here in Hawaii is so expensive. Also to, after 1998 my car accident I was disabled so hard yeah. Life went on my child grew up so I was single parent husband and I separated and divorced. But it’s all good because I got wore over the years and I am going be 60 in November.
I absolutely love this!!! I’m from Canada but will be visiting your store this coming November regularly until April while I spend the winter in Florida. Thanks for sharing!
This was wonderful! I am sure I clicked on your first video as I was intrigued with what long term craft supply collection might look like. I moved when I retired at age 60 and only kept scrapbooking supplies. I sold everything else at an estate sale and at garage sales. I was happy to get those items into the hands of people who would use them. As I now follow a few hobbyist scrapbookers and cardmakers on YT, i see the questions come up of what will happen to their supplies (and their finished products) when they no longer craft. Your store and this series seem like a great answer for the supplies. Glad to know you have a nice relationship with the "legacy crafter" (love that term): and I would love to send her a card this summer for her birthday. Could I mail something to your store?
Aww thanks I'm so happy you're enjoying the series and coming along our journey! Glad the estate sale and garage sales went well for you and glad they went to a good home. It is strange there's never been a place to really take this stuff before, I know not many thrift stores have a decent craft supply selection so I think people just really hung on to them or passed them along to individuals they knew. I hope this catches on and we can open more stores across the country and get to meet more amazing people like you! Yes you can absolutely send her a card. The shop info is in the description and I'll forward any along to her. You're so sweet 🥰
A friend has some brusho they're going to let me test out!! I totally understand, hopefully you can get your collection manageable enough to enjoy it again.

Been fun watching. Wished I lived closer to come to the store.
Aww thank you!! Maybe you can visit someday 🥰
She really is amazing, I hope she can some day too. Bob is the best I'm so glad we found him! He's family now.
Thank u Stephanie. I just about freaked out when I heard u live in Seminole, Florida. I used 2 live in Largo, Florida until I got married & moved 2 Oregon.
This has been an awesome series. Thank u so very much.
Have a great, blessed night.
Wow, small world!!
@bottomofthebin_ yes it is. Have a great, blessed day.
I do like the word legacy so much better.
🥰
Wow!!!! That is soooo cool🤗
I was in there today, and you are such a nice person, and have a great personalty 😉
Aww you're so sweet, thank you so much! Your support means so much to me 🥰
Super cool hearing all the why behind this crafter’s collection. Thanks for curating keeping track of BOB!!! Love this series.
Thanks for watching!! It's been a pleasure sharing the bins and the story. Bob says hello!!
Fabulous info! Thanks for sharing! Bob lives! 💜
Yay thanks for watching! Bob says hello!
Loved your emotional story about your mom and how you connected with this lovely 79 year old lady.
Thank you so much, and thanks for coming along our journey!
LOL, I watched this while coloring with some of my Artisto colored pencils. I too have an huge supply of everything and I am actively trying to use as much as I can while I still can.
Oh how cool!! Yess definitely use your favorite stuff, don't wait!
Thanks for being part of it 🥰
Congrats and I wish that you were closer to Cincinnati 🎉
Thank you! Maybe someday
I have a lot of crafting items also. I have been crafting for over 30 years and my grandkids will have to get rid of it when I'm gone.
I will probably continue to purchase things because I can't see that changing. EVER!
aww hopefully they might enjoy them or find someone who does!!
I really was thinking there were so many Bobs, not just one lol jokes on me!
😂 He's one of a kind!
❤️❤️❤️
🥰
Love your videos
Thank you 😊
Great video and history about the lady whose collection you adopted. Would love to know if we can all send her a birthday card. Maybe we can mail the cards to you and then you can pass them along to her.
Love the idea of a birthday card shower for our new friend
I’m in👍🤗
That's a great idea! Our shop info is in the description. Feel free to send one and I'll forward them all to her!
@@Mrs.Katiex0x Thank you 😭
When I shared a home with my cousin, she had one of those sketch doll things, and we would hide it for each other to find. It was a lot of fun coming up with new places to hide him.
That's so nice, sounds like you and your cousin had a lot of fun!
@@bottomofthebin_ Oh, I So Hope you open a store in my area, Apopka. I will stay tuned. :)
@@susanparrish5169 yay!
I’m giggling, I too have to organize every 3 months, because I forget where I put something. Labels really help. Now where did I put that die?!?!😂
I can totally relate! I haven't got that far with my organizing but I do plan to!
Great advice today from both the lady you purchased the collection From and your own ideas! Thank you!
Yay happy to help inspire!! 🥰
you are her angel I love you
You're so sweet, thank you 🥰
She is the nicest and generous per
Yess!
I love the story and totally enjoy the videos and can't wait for the rest. ❤
YAY So happy to hear that, thanks for being here!!
Is there Bob T-shirts in the future ?
I'm sure VeggieTales would sue 😂
I enjoy watching you and your videos of this wonderful collection. Thanks for sharing and I will keep on looking at the items you have posted on eBay for purchase.
Aww thanks I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Our ebay staff is working hard to get new items up so thanks for keeping an eye out!
@@michellechristopher6468 Life has a way of derailing us sometimes but all we can do is keep moving forward!
I absolutely love this!!! I’m from Canada but will be visiting your store this coming November regularly until April while I spend the winter in Florida. Thanks for sharing!
Yay that's awesome, I look forward to your visit! So cool that you come here. Thanks for watching!!
I love this story! Craft minds unit. 😂
Yess we all have an understanding of each other, that's for sure 😂
BrushO I too am 80 yo i have so much crafting stuff I am overwhelmed so that keeps me from crafting as much as just sifting through to find things.
A friend has some brusho they're going to let me test out!! I totally understand, hopefully you can get your collection manageable enough to enjoy it again.
