I have this kit and it sounds amazing! I added an 8" and 10" tom and a 16" floor tom, all color matched (tobacco burst ) and now I have an awesome 7 piece kit! it's nice that you can buy additional toms to create a bigger kit and not worry about color matching them. Replaced all batter heads with Remo vintage emperors and powerstroke 3 for the bass. Once you get them tuned to your liking, you won't be disappointed with it! Best kit for the price!
Was looking at picking up a DW drum kit, especially since I do lots of smaller gigs that require a smaller set-up or smaller drums. This would be perfect, yet still maintains a good sound that would work as a primary kit for bigger shows.

Love the bass drum, the snare and toms aren't my favorites though. This bass with Tama StarClassic Birch Bubinga snare, Gretsch Renown 10" tom and Sonor Pure Maple 3005 14x14 make a great set.

I have this kit and I love it. I play in a heavy rock band and a funk band and it works great for both. Don't be fooled by the kick drum size!!!
I have 2 of their performance kits and love them to death. The frequent flyer would be perfect for those small room gigs.

If that floor tom was a little deeper, it would be much better, like say 14x12 or 14x13.
