I know right, I really like this datadisk but whenever I mentioned somewhere on the internet MoP everyone went crazy. Like wtf, soundtrack was amazing and their island was beautiful.
@@TykoF I'm currently on a mount collecting grind and I am saving Mists of Pandaria till last purely because how the place looks and the music. Save the best till last is my thought process.
I so vividly remember using the 7 free days blizz gave me to grind out my blue cloud serpent, and i got about 1/3 of the way there with the black egg grind, then had to buy a sub lmao. But a month later i got my serpent.
Back then: omg wow pandas will kill this game for sure Now: goddamn, pandaland was probably rival to WOTLK for best expansion I’m soooo glad this expansion is glorious in the minds of others besides me lmao!
This was actually the expansion I started the game with. It's no WotLK, but it has a special place in my heart. The music makes me so nostalgic for back when I was a kid eager to log on every morning and explore Pandaria and marvel at it's beautiful zones and godlike music. I think that was the best part. This expansion was beautiful, and people don't give it enough credit just because of Pandaren. Immersion was and still is a major reason I play some games, I love the feeling of being in a different, amazing world and this expansion delivered.
I feel you, brother. I am a veteran of WoW, been playing since WoTLK, but nothing compares to MoP in terms of exploring and just how different, unique and amazing each zone was. Even tho they did a great job with zones in SL, making them more traditional in terms of game design they still don't feel that unique and filled with things to find and explore. And hey, Pandarens are a lot of fun! Most of my characters are pandaren, they are just fun!
I started playing as a 14 year old person in at the start of TBC on private servers but the game was boring and not fun to play back in the day it was not my taste..i tried wotlk...and it was still the same nothing happening to me but then cata came and oh boy cata and MOP are my favorite expansion but maybe it's because i learned how to play the game and beat raids and pvp it was so much fun Nothing can compare to cata/MOP for me not even legion

One of the best expansions. It brought peace, it made us reflect ourselves. The capital was great. Most characters were amazing and so loveable. Timeless island was super cool, always full of people doing stuff together. This expansion was mostly about being united which is something the Pandarens take importance on. They're also an amazing race, so honorable and nice. I don't trust people who didn't like this expansion, it was just magic and beautiful.

This is arguably THE best WoW soundtrack of all time. It just has so many different feelings. Cheerful and bright, dark and mysterious, epic and bold, uplifting and thoughtful, all mixing multiple styles and cultures of music. Never before or since has WoW had a soundtrack as powerful.
@@netkyou6742 I feel it so hard even tho I first played wow in late Wrath of the lich king but I can't remember anything before late cata, and the most things I remember are in MoP, when I played my Monk to level 90 and right after that wanted to play something else because I didn't enjoy the monk, the moment I was first so motivated to play my now main classes, The clothies (Warlock, Mage, Priest) so many good memories, all now just in the back of my mind
One of the reasons I adore MoP is cuz' there was a lot to it in terms of lore. The quests weren't just the classic "go out and kill 14 wolves" type. Everything in Pandaria seemed to be about learning. Learning about the pandaren cultures and the history, learning about cooking and gardening, building reputation and making friends with the NPCs. I can't for the life of me understand why everyone says it isn't as good. It's easily my favorite of all the expansions so far.

So, I searched on YT: Mists of pandaria complete soundtrack. Why do I have 2 options that are so different: one of 12 hours complete and one of 1 hour complete. Which one is complete?
Pandaria had amazing lore, amazing music, amazing ambience and amazing graphics, and the monk is an amazing class. Pandas ruined Pandaria, change my mind
Now I dunno chief, I am having a lot of fun having my panda shammy as a main. No other race strikes such a fine balance of being visually great and quite horrifying once you get into all the details
Now imagine if they went with the pandaren as the alliance race, while they went with the mogu as the horde race. With both having an equal claim to Pandaria, and both being highly oppressed by the other, and both potentially having their own small factions on the Wandering Isle, that would have made the new races advance the main war plot of the expansion, rather than directly conflict with it. For example, imagine the plot where Liu Lang, the pandaren creator of the Wandering Isle, had a mogu friend, and through that friend, many mogu escaped the oppression of the pandaren empire. Consider that the mogu would be opressed because their ancestors were once the opressors, and how much ties into what the Horde truly is. If they went for that, knowing how well it ties into everything including the Thunder King and the Zandalari, i am convinced it would have been the perfect expansion. And they wouldn't have needed to completely retcon any of their progress on the expansion either, since the Horde is pretty much the main antagonist, and that would have worked with mainly mogu dungeons and raids.
Mists of pandaria was concidered as the best class design xpac by the majority, and the classes are the scope in which we view the game through, if the scope is fucked, nothing is fun, if all classes feels overly amazing 10/10 then the xpac is already a 9/10, I also loved the great wall where the pvp vendors were and pvp was at it's all time best, twitch was peaking, community was peaking no doubt, and every spec could 1v3 which was perfect pretty much
Artísticamente es la mejor expansión para mi, ir a Pandaria era realmente inmersivo y disfrutable, era bellísimo y la música que acompañaba a cada zona era la guinda sobre el pastel.

I think the reason the nostalgia feels so magical and great is because at the time it was all a new fresh and exciting experience, and that was thrilling. So even going and playing it again wouldn’t give the same feels. A solid soundtrack of course, but also a bit bland.
