Here is this Irish guy singing the absolute blues. There is emotion in this that has to effect the listener. The Blues are truly universal. Everyone understands lose, pain and regret in a voice that is reaching out, trying to tell you why with out actually saying why.
Idk why more people dont react or even know who Foy Vance is but I have been listening to this dude for a while and my gosh he is incredible, thanks for reacting to him!

I heard the Ed Sheeran version first. Then found the original & nope been a fan of Foy Vance since. No one gives this man his credit he truly deserves.
He is so good! I got to see him live last September, and it was at a very small venue - it was amazing!
Hi, great reaction video. I have nearly every record of Foy Vance, since i discovered him because of the cover version of ""She burns" by Rag'N'Bone Man. Now I listen to him every day and very often he brings me down to my deepest feelings and emotions and I'm sitting in front of my stereo equipment with tears in my eyes or even crying like a child. I love Foy Vance, but I only found him through Ed. Ed brought him out on stage in NY when he was his support act. I love that they’re still friends & collaborators still. Foy has the most soulful voice❤️ he is so underrated

Thank you so much for reacting to this and im glad you enjoyed it as much as I do. Foy has said that he wants to grow organically so he hasnt taken part in advertising or anything but i cant help but feel he should be much larger than he is.

When I first saw the title, I thought Vance Joy, then listened to the voice and went yeah no way, but then looked again and seen it was Foy Vance 😂😂🤦🏼♀️, but now I have found a new excellent voice to listen too 🤗👌👏👏

I did The Boo Boo face w/out realizing it for the first time today. I am ashamed I have never heard this. Someone compared it to Foy being a grown man & Ed being a little boy when comparing the two. I didn't say it as elegantly, tho. Whew!
I don't remember where I saw it but I saw an interview with Ed where he was working with the team for Sons of Anarchy about the song for the end of the show and Ed suggested this one because it has the perfect feeling for ending of the show

This is so weird to see. I've watched your Harry Mack reactions for ages but Foy Vance is my favorite artist. I certainly did not expect this. I would recommend Foy's entire Live from London album.... along with all of his other albums.

You sir need to go down the Foy Vance rabbit hole...so much good stuff from him. No shade to Ed Sheeran but comparing Ed to Foy is like comparing a young little boy to a grizzled old man who's seen some sh*t. Do yourself a favor and listen to more Foy. And, I wouldn't go for the songs that Ed has covered...those are all ok but they're the common ones people go to. Shy away from the ones Ed has covered and just listen to Foy do Foy's thing. Side note, I get to see Foy in concert next week in St. Louis, it's going to be epic!
