Love all the tips ... good stuff ... We've often given tickets to kids at the arcade when we don't want them ... the look on their faces is great!! The 'touching the glass' one is great! I didn't actually know that until recently ... a good thing to know as many times the prizes are too large to actually fall! I notice too some of the machines you play run fast so that the coins that fall from the first shelf don't have a chance to lay flat before they are themselves pushed forward ... this causes coin pileup and dramatically reduces your chances of getting anything like a good push across the playfield ... You mentioned too when coins are stacked on their sides ... too heavy and impossible to push forward. That very sneaky (and should be illegal) five pound note held on the edge too is naughty ... I also dislike the ones where the coins are sort of thrown by the machine to the back of the machine and then fall randomly onto smaller shelves ... those never seem to pay anything out at all ... Another tip is when you find dropped coins in the tray, consider playing the machine as obviously things are being pushed forward and will (eventually) fall ... :)
This is really interesting David, I like your final tip, something we will consider if we see a prize on the edge on such machines where coins are already in the tray!:) The £5 note on the edge is ridiculous: you have to be naive to attempt it. However, do check out our Gorleston Vlog to see us win £5!:)
Here in the us I've only seen .25 games. But the prize are decent but the trick also is the 20 bill wrapped around ones ext weighs less then coins and coins don't make good hole grabs for the ends of the rolled bills. So coins get pushed under as it barely moves forward. Also aim for the middle! The sides are wear the machine makes money via drop holes. There be holes in the side walls!
preaching to the choir here. all the times I've ever won not enough tickets towards the end of my stay in an arcade, I give to that one kid that wants something but doesn't have quite enough tickets. it's quite a kick doing that. timing the coin drops - essential. as is looking to find that one 2p machine - I often walk round the arcade before settling for something. I go all 2p pushers because there's a level of satisfaction from watching the coins from finger to lower tray. and I always pack wet wipes - chances are you're not going to want to be washing your hands every 2 mins, the toilets may be closed, or inaccessible (wheelchair) or right at the other side of the arcade. all pushers are dirt magnets. as I tend to be on my own when seaside gambling, I also check who is around me - I like to know that, if something happens, I know where to go. haven't been to Blackpool for ages and am long overdue a visit, but I'm hoping to go there at some point soon. why 2p machines? surface area/gift ratio.👍
@@TuppenceBros I believe there's a new system at Coral Island so you can top up a card (that never expires) which is stupidly handy. so you can top a card up and not walk around with a ton of assorted coinage. although, as an oldie - it's what I'm used to. some folks might not be aware of that little change they've made 😁
@@TuppenceBros Yes, it was 2ps me and my parents had saved up, she was happy with the prize . I done looking around the machines for any 2ps , 10ps left , I don't always put them back in the machine, I remember in the 90s there were 1p machines
Glad too see you have applied my tip, thanks so much for listening, this was a banging video
We always listen to the fans, we are glad you enjoyed it! :)
These tips are so helpful! Definitely going to use them next time I go tuppencing!

Been waiting for this video, going to have to go and put these tips into practice!
We hope you find success utilising them Ashleigh!:)
Pink Palace at California Cliffs ..... we were stung by the £5 on the edge. ThanX for the info 👍
They are rare to find: Thank you!:)
Thanks for these great tips! They will really help me next time 😊
I have no doubts they will, stay away from heavy machines and you'll be onto a winner!:)
I love the 2p machines ❤❤❤
Who doesn't!:)

Sounds very similar to here but .25 a time is quite expensive as we can have the same fun for just 2p!:)
I’m so obsessed with arcades xx ❤
Who isn't!:)
@@TuppenceBros hehe xx
I used to get head over heals with penny pushers as a child if I saw anything close to the edge I had to win it!
We are the same, you have to be careful though, just because they are next to the edge doesn't always mean they are going to drop!:)
Great video 👍
Thank you! :)

What arcades do u frequently go to
Our local town is Mablethorpe so if we do go spontaneously we tend to go there! What about yourself? :)
I went to the arcade today and I saw there was a prize stuck in a machine I wasn't using so I got the guy to open the machine to give it to me.
That's cheeky but if it's a decent prize we don't blame you!:)
I went on holiday to the place that was in the intro
We've been to most seaside locations!:)
👍
Hemsby love the place ❤
Lovely little place with some pretty substantial arcades!:)
1:32 Reversible octopus in a coin pusher?
They are quite a popular prize in the penny pushers!:)
Thanks
Brill video
Thank you!:)
I live in Blackpool and quite often go in arcades, sometimes just to take ambient drop coins out of the troughs and keep them for my piggy bank!
We have a stash of coins which are surplus after arcading and they go towards our next tuppence adventure!:)
£20 is my limit lol
We'd be skint the amount we go if that was our limit! 😂
@@TuppenceBros haha I used to spend £40 a month when I lived by the seaside (Cromer had some fantastic machines)
My niece won a prize, by putting the coins in fast
Can be a good tactic, but you tend to spend a lot more money that way!:)

I avoid snakes and ladders machines there more rigged
They are hard work, we rarely play them as they are usually for tickets!:)
@@TuppenceBros they are stupidly rigged got like 30p back from £2!
Tuppencer 😂😂😂
Are you one of them? :)
@TuppenceBros yes. I love being a tuppencer and you sound gorgeous
