the moment i read the patch notes i waited for your response to it all. glad tap strafing is back. it is a golden mechanic and should not be interfered with for the players that actually practice hours to master it. i actually almost uninstalled till the added it back.
@jackybit5308 regardless of if it's unintended or not, it adds depth and layers to the game that has carried the core mechanics to a higher level. It's fundamentally also created a whole sect of players dedicated to learning and mastering it and other mechanics around it which in turn helps keep the game alive. Faide is arguably one of the biggest content creators for apex. That is a testament unto itself.
@Tapeiy that's fair but at the same time it makes apex even more unique than it already is. Roller players are the vast majority, both casually and in pro play. The mnk players have a movement mechanic that has a high skill bar and even higher ceiling that a very small minority of the player base even uses but gives more life, flare, and depth to the overall look and feel of the game. It's like the cherry on top so to speak

In my opinion from the start of your video "before" to your longer gameplay "after" it appears to me that they really didn't nerf it that bad. In fact it looks like they made it much more fair. Just think how many more players we would have if people didn't have to face people doing crazy things such as the beginning of the video. Funny how people don't like to play unless they have some big leg up on others. Thank you for displaying what I have read so many complaints about and teaching uneducated console player on the matter. Didn't look as bad as everyone made it seem.

You cant compare aim assist to tap strafing aim assist is default and dosnt require any skill to benefit from it you can pick it up and instantly benefit from it tap strafing takes practice its not this easy thing every player can benefit from it it takes work

This is part of the problem with apex. Once the bigger streamers or pros of the game complain respawn responds. No matter what it is the loudest voices get heard and casuals normally get shit on. People wonder why the game is dying. Look in the mirror.

The constant changes that are made cater to exactly I said it does. Movement players get mad over a small nerf? The amount of practice it took to be able to move like this, it’s a good thing AA can’t keep up. AA is op, if it was able to keep up with these movements no one would play the game.
