Your food reviews are really very well done. You’re natural food reviewers. Most of the ones I’ve seen take quite a while to get as good as you two. Looking forward to more vlogs.
Love your videos, it’s so lovely to see you both living your adventures. Your videos never fail to put a smile on my face and I look forward to seeing where you take us along with you next! (Stacey, your hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍 what a queen!) x
We have been on a few cruises (Iona once), but I was drawn to see what first time cruisers thought. Great videos guys. Looking forward to see your other adventures.
We enjoyed you review, Kev and Stacey. The food looked great. Many item's we never tried before and it certainly looked like you got enough. Would love the experience!
Thanks Dave and Kathy, hope you are both well and enjoying your travels. And yes if there's one thing us brits like it's a good curry lol. Will catch up with your vlogs soon, take care guys
Sindhu is owned by Atul Kochhar, he was the first Chef to be awarded a Michelin Star for Indian cuisine. Holder of two Michelin Stars (one star awarded at Tamarind London, the second at Benares London). Sindhu restaurant is in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. It overlooks the river. His menu reflects his understanding of the blend of aromatic spices and is nothing short of genius. Little wonder you enjoyed it so much. Thank you for your review
That’s my fix for tonight watched!😂… another great video guys, really enjoyed it. Am definitely booking now for Canaries cruise in January. Your videos have definitely helped convince me the “Iona” is for us 👍…. And we will definitely be booking the Sindhu ! .. the food looked fabulous and I thought very reasonably priced considering where you are… thanks again guys
Thanks so much Victoria, glad we convinced you to book up 😁 you will have a great time. Highly recommend sindhu, a canaries crusie on the Iona would be amazing in January, get away from the cold winter weather and in the sun 🌞 😁
The thing you have to remember about the prices is, it's a supplement; you've already paid a chunk of it as part of your cruise. So when you see £5.50, it's not really £5.50. It's more like £9.50, it's just you paid £4 of it before you got there.
But what if you go to the buffet after going to a speciality restaurant? Then that pricing doesn't work. Or if you don't eat another meal that day then it doesn't work. I get what your trying to say but it you can't always work out the pricing like that
Once again a very watchable video for an Iona to be guest. Do you know if there is any age restrictions at the restaurant, we have a 14 yr old (going on 18!) who loves Indian too.
Hi Mark thanks so much. We can't be 100 % sure but we are almost certain there was no age limit or restricted to adults only in the restaurants, pretty sure we saw teenagers in Sindhu and others onboard. They probably can't sit around the bar areas in some restaurants that's all.
Hi yeah it was , it was really nice we highly recommend, just don't go expecting your traditional curries like back home, but if was nice to enjoy something different and different flavours
Thanks. No we didnt have the drinks package. You can take your own drinks on the boat with you if you want to save some money. We took 28 cans of coke lol. Someone with us had the drinks package and it was only upto the value of about £6.99 per drink. So if you ordered a drink that was £9.99 you wpuld have to pay £9.99 and not the £3 difference so if you want famcy drinks this is something to think about
Loved this vlog series! You have made me and the hubby want to book a cruise next year!! But can you please settle an argument cause we both can't decide where your accents are from? I say you have a Liverpool twang... mixed with Yorkshire 🙉😆 xx
Looks great guys. Going on iona in August. Did u see any kids in the Indian. Also if u have drinks package can u get drinks free in the restaurants you have to pay for?
the first disappointment for us were the popadoms, which were not freshly made and probably came from a crip packet. The menu is very hit&miss. We will give it another go - the next time we are on a P&O cruise, but we were under-whelmed with our first visit.
We really enjoyed Sindhu, I had the chicken starter then the vegetarian thali, it was delicious, husband had the lamb starter then the lobster, beef, duck and possibly something else main. The dhal to share was lovely, we didn’t have dessert. You can book Sindhu from home and I think you get a discount, I think it’s 20% but not sure.
I was looking at the lobster main. That wasnt offered when we looked. You could pre book but you had to pay £10 each which got knocked off your bill. But we had £180 on board credit we wanted to use
We went to Sindhu's on Arvia earlier this year. I sent both my starter and main course back and had a refund. It was awful, the buttered chicken tasted like english style chicken with a cheap sauce thrown on top. It was as far removed from real Indian cuisine as it was possible to get. I have eaten at Sindhu's on other P&O ships and it was fine. It sounds like it was OK on this ship as well.
We went the sindhu was not that impressed slow service and plus you pay extra for it. Better meals in the coral / opal/ aqua and pearl that’s our opinion. Thought the prawns and monkfish were ok on this video they look quite big but trust me ours were not. Basically for the extra cost it was not worth it
Well done! Love watching your reaction when trying the food. Down to earth and honest review. Thank you both!
Thanks Guys, on Iona near Christmas !
Your food reviews are really very well done. You’re natural food reviewers. Most of the ones I’ve seen take quite a while to get as good as you two. Looking forward to more vlogs.
Thanks again Leslie. And hehe if there's one thing we are good at its eating 🤪 😋 lol.

Thank you so much Mellissa , what a lovely comment. Glad you enjoy the videos, we really appreciate you taking the time to watch 😍
Good old 'Mocktail' can't wait.
Went on the IONA in September and booked again for the Canaries in January.
Thanks, that will be a nice trip to look forward to in the new year

Thank you for sharing, interesting video

Happy late father's day to everyone that is a dad and to everyone's dad as well😀.
Lovely looking scran there, was the red aromatic chicken dish like a Thai red curry?. Cheers for the update guys. Tony and Tracey. 👍

Hi we are booked on this cruise April 23, did you buy the drinks package or have you any opinion about it (loving the videos) x
Thanks. No we didnt have the drinks package. You can take your own drinks on the boat with you if you want to save some money. We took 28 cans of coke lol.

Thanks so much Much Steph , we liked a cruise so much more than we thought we would. And haha we are from Stoke on Trent 🤣
Oh god I will have to tell him he is right, (for once) he said Birmingham. I was well off 🤣🤣🙉x
Great dessert 👍
I believe ‘before covid’ you only paid a fixed upgrade fee but now you have to pay per item which has really increased the cost.
Oh right that's interesting to know
We rarely eat desert even if it’s included on the fixed price menu so pay per course could be better for us.
Looks great guys. Going on iona in August. Did u see any kids in the Indian. Also if u have drinks package can u get drinks free in the restaurants you have to pay for?
I believe you can have the drinks package in the speciality restaurants. Didnt see any kids in there but i believe they can go in
@@OneCouplesAdventure thank you great vlog.. hope its not choppy in August!! Love all your vlogs think your great travel vloggers..
Thanks so much Jennifer, was abit choppy at times in May but nothing a quick Kwells tablet couldn't sort lol. Not long till you go now 😁

Making me hungry!
Lol 😜

Oh no, sounds awful. We never went there when we were on the Arvia, We did enjoy it on the Iona though
