Well, your workshop seems to just get “fuller” and “fuller”. Great job! It seems you have a potential shallow throat issue in your press that might need to figure out someday. Luckily you have the power hammer that appears to be really open (for lengthier projects). Not trying to be a downer. Your welding is definitely much better. Excellent video!! I’ve been busy in my own shop. My son Gary is making his first knife. I put a couple of videos up on it, coming along nicely ( and he is uber excited). Have an amazing day!
Nice job on the fabrication and I do see a big improvement on your welding. Is there an over plan for you shop (like making axes for example), or just to have the coolest setup ever? I think you’ve achieved the coolest part already!
Thanks! I am toying with the idea of axe production, but it's gonna depend on the capabilities of the press as to whether or not I can produce any fast enough to make it a worthwhile cause.
Nice new dies. Wondering if you had considered some sort of locking mechanism at the front to prevent the dies being pulled out when working on a piece?
I've thought about putting a pin through, but once pressure is applied, the friction on the plate seems to be enough to stop it budging... but I'm still considering it, maybe a feature to add?
Just wondering...is it possible to open the sides of the frame plates to allow longer pieces to be fullered? Might need addition pieces welded in place to ensure structural integrity. Being as you've nailed this welding lark that shouldn't be a problem for a man of your caliber.
I'm not sure is the honest answer. I know the plates are hardened steel, so I'm guessing they're fairly key to the structure. I'm not currently planning to do so, but is something I have thought about for the future.
I wasn't expecting my headphones to betray me within the first 12 seconds...
Terribly sorry old bean! :)
Nicely done! But I feel for those poor plastic clamps... 😅
I hate them. 😅
LET'M BURN!
@@PJTForging Obviously - plastic has no place in a metal shop!
@@CrudeButEfficient 100% agree! 😅

Yeah I've seen a couple of your shorts! Loving the work you're (both) doing. :)
@@PJTForging thank you very much!

@@PJTForging Never a bad idea to keep as an idea to add later on. Can always see how the current fit holds up after some use.
Great job but I think you fuller it lol
Keep up the great work
How rude! Thanks Stephen! 😁
Did your workshop floor get a bit wet when that wood flew back towards you?
I will neither confirm, nor deny that rumour. 😅

You have Twitter?
No sir. Hate it. 😅
@@PJTForging totally understand.
