- That Alpha-6 never ceases to amaze me! It's a fantastic little unit all around, and it simply performs beautifully!
As previously discussed, I'm working on getting hardware kits ready for sale in the shop. I'll do my best to have everything ready by next weekend!

Thank you for your continued support. The season is coming to an end, and I clearly didn't have enough time to do everything I wanted. Many of my personnel projects are nearing completion, and I will do everything i can to make them run before all the snow is gone.

Great to see you making videos again. Your designs are on another level! I’ve ran the alpha for the last month and it really is finally the first rc snowmobile has the performance of the real deal. Thank you for releasing the files to the public I know you must have 1000s of hours in designing and testing this model. The geometry and attention to the detail on this unit really show how talented you are. Thank you!

I like the alpha. I wish the rush held up and performed like it. Maybe next year I will get one
The rush can perform similar to that. In revision 8 i will have some parts that are lighter and a bit more structural. That would improve durability and performance, maybe even beyond what the alpha can do

I found with this sled, when the track blows, it rips apart the cooling tunnels but the sled rips!
It has not happened to me before, is your track polymax?
@@Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations No, I printed it with PETG at a low temp, making it a little more impact resistant than regular PLA. i also am running a 3100kv 3665 motor paired with a hobbywing max10 sct on 100c discharge 3s and 4s. I will try printing with polymax after I get my PLA settings corrected.

I’m going to start a build so I will absolutely buy that pack let me know here and when I can purchase that. I haven’t yet purchased the files because I’m waiting on my buddy with the 3D printer but I will be doing one I need it baaaaad!!!

So I can't read through all of the comments, as I'm sure it's been answered... Why is there not a rider on the sled? It would surely be easy enough to epoxy him (or her) in place. It would add so much realism to the experience... but again, I'm sure I'm missing something?
Its simply down to personnal preferance. I prefer not to have one because im not a fan of the "stiff rider look". Anso the higher center of gravity and increased weight. I just prefer without it
@@Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations Maybe you can design the canopy without handlebars and with a cool spacey/futuristic design since you're not going tom make/use a rider

Broke my driveshaft in half today first time in snow lol 😂 . Shaft was in aluminum so gonna order some 5mm steel shaft instead.😃
I use aluminum, but only used the 2 outer holes for the drive sprocket, haven't had issues like with 1 or 3 screws, 1 would snap in half, 3 would also, steel is almost 3× as heavy but wouldn't break, especially if hardened
@@mr.everythingrandom9470 Maybe because I only used one hole🤔 Did not find any 5mm aluminum so bought 6mm and then turned it down to 5 with my mini lathe. Too much work for a drive shaft I gues🤷♂️ Will see if its even posible to drill in silversteel to🤣
@@eliasberntsson3458 look on ebay, most is in China so will take a bit to get there, but if you use the printed jig plus a drill press its possible,
I can tell you've tightened the limiter strap since the teaser video haha
The strap blew up half way during the teaser video. Nylon strap was not strong enough. I now use the same styff the belt is made out of. Its far stronger!👌

Either option is doable, but it depends on the circonstances and the country that you are in (if you want to be legal)
But its more of a base to base senario

Hey, I’ve been looking to see if their are any hobby grade rc snowmobiles. I can’t find any but I have a toy Polaris pro r 800 snowmobile. Is there any why I could make it better? I don’t have a 3d printer and I don’t know much about it. Please reply and thank you.
You can get a upgrade kit to improve the polaris rush. However you need to keep in mind that the only thing you are going to keep, is some parts of the frame and the hood. Its a pretty big transformation, but the results speak for themself.

What made you decide to go with the skinnier front stance vs a wider stance?
I have both available.
Essentially if it's narrower it has less chance of being damaged it's also lighter and you have more chance of a recovery if you're doing hill climbs and it starts to flip.
The wide front end is more stable on flat ground and hard stuff it's better for Drag Racing and racing as well, but most likely not the best and the deepest stuff.

How fast is it
Usually around 35 mph, but I went 60 mph with one build with different gears, a drag racing track and suspension.

Good je trouve ça super que tu m'a répond c un rêve savoire un skidoo comme ça j'en ai beaucoup des rc un skidoo 3d 4 s y asser petit mais ça roule mais les tiens ils sont vraie cause le look mais le son surtout et le Power infini style t vraiment super génie là dans d'après moi tu était un skidoo dans ton notre vie lol le prix des machines m'en fou pay pour d la qualiter et fiable. T. La mec j'irais a même de qu'à a Québec t serrer la main pour ton ouvrage super maniac!!!! Et ont c reparle c pour l'hiver prochain ou cette été quand t'auras d qua pour moi d fiable et vite merci chum!!!!
