@@taurahelms3068 Well now these days work practices are getting better but slowly and wages stagnated a lot for the lowest workers in companies. In some companies still get treated like crap of those in a higher position that make it hard to even go in sometimes. I have found a good job now that I can work hard and be left in peace so all good now but I do not trust the higher work system as lot corruption goes on that knowone knows about.

I'm 39 and I got fired in June after 8 years from a toxic-as-hell office. It was the best thing to happen to me mentally and spiritually. I will NEVER go back to a soul-sucking office in corporate America and I will NEVER work 10-14 or even 8 hours a day anymore if I could help it. What do we get out of it these days other than pain and anguish? Our money is worthless and so are most CEOs and business owners, all out for themselves.

I've been self-employed, and I was good at it. I gave it up for two reasons. One, you're not working for yourself, you're working for your customers. Instead of having one boss, you have multiple. Two, it turns out that I'm exceptionally good at some elements of running a one-person consulting firm, and lousy at other elements. I needed help marketing myself, specifically. So I went to work for a group of consultants where I could outsource the marketing to another set of people. I still had to contribute to some degree, but no longer was my entire financial future depending on JUST MY ability to sell my skills. Now I had full-time professional sellers who were better at selling than I would ever be. The twist ending is after another 20 years of consulting as part of larger groups, I'm ready to retire... and go back to some other form of self-directed work again! But I could never have saved up enough money to retire now if I hadn't been part of a much larger consulting organization than I could have ever built myself.

As a self employed mechanic for 30 years he was flabbergasted he earnt more in a few days than I did all month. And, my situation is apparently a 'good wage'.

@@AaronKnightley you have to look at who funded the early internet, how social media developed as a 'free speech' platform, then how censorship was brought in, and now both semi amateur one person produces and labels now have to broadcast approved subjects only.
In my view, those funding social media development were actually doing a data capture exercise on the public consciousness. Now the final phase is to manipulate perception via censorship of dissent and pumping out approved narratives.
as for governments and corporations. you've only got to see what the Davos crowd get involved with. Check out their global prediction reports. Neil McCormick-Ward breaks it down very well.
my own observations. their appears to be loads of social media stuff that causes polarisation of debates with no common ground for agreement.
be all and end all. TV is so old hat for propaganda. the public private partnership over social media works brilliantly for the elites. Many broadcasters such as yourself are probably unaware of your propaganda value as you become engrossed in the commercial aspect of your broadcasting business. however, you can only put out approved content. try and push boundaries and see how long your channel or funding lasts.
