The battle of Shiva and Krishna...
When the four months of the rainy season passed and Aniruddha had still not returned home, all the members of the Yadu family became very disturbed. They could not understand how the boy was missing. Fortunately, one day the great sage Nārada came and the whole story was disclosed about Aniruddha’s disappearance from the palace. He explained how Aniruddha had been carried to the city of Śoṇitapura, the capital of Bāṇāsura’s empire, and how Bāṇāsura had arrested him with the nāga-pāśa, even though Aniruddha had defeated his soldiers.
Then the members of the Yadu dynasty, all of whom had great affection for Kṛṣṇa, prepared to attack the city of Śoṇitapura.
Practically all the leaders of the family, including Pradyumna, Sātyaki, Gada, Sāmba, Sāraṇa, Nanda, Upananda and Bhadra, combined together and gathered twelve akṣauhiṇī military divisions into phalanxes. Then they all went to Śoṇitapura and surrounded it with soldiers, elephants, horses and chariots.
Bāṇāsura heard that the soldiers of the Yadu dynasty were attacking the whole city, tearing down various walls, gates and nearby gardens. Becoming very angry, he immediately ordered his soldiers, who were of equal caliber, to go and face them.
Lord Śiva was so kind to Bāṇāsura that he personally came as the commander in chief of the military force, assisted by his heroic sons Kārttikeya and Gaṇapati. Nandīśvara, Lord Śiva, seated on his favorite bull, led the fighting against Lord Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma.
We can simply imagine how fierce the fighting was - Lord Śiva with his valiant sons on one side, and Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and His elder brother, Śrī Balarāmajī, on the other.
The fighting was so fierce that those who saw the battle were struck with wonder, and the hairs on their bodies stood up. Lord Śiva was engaged in fighting directly with Lord Kṛṣṇa, Pradyumna was engaged with Kārttikeya,
and Lord Balarāma was engaged with Bāṇāsura’s commander in chief, Kumbhāṇḍa, who was assisted by Kūpakarṇa.
Sāmba, the son of Kṛṣṇa, fought the son of Bāṇāsura,
and Bāṇāsura fought Sātyaki, commander in chief of the Yadudynasty. In this way the fighting was waged. News of the fighting spread all over the universe.
Demigods such as Lord Brahmā, from higher planetary systems, along with great sages and saintly persons, Siddhas, Cāraṇas and Gandharvas, all being very curious to see the fight between Lord Śiva and Lord Kṛṣṇa and their assistants, hovered over the battlefield in their airplanes...

As explained in Bhāgavata Purāṇa -
This chapter describes the battle between Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Śiva, as well as Śiva’s glorification of Kṛṣṇa after the Lord had cut off Bāṇāsura’s arms.
When Aniruddha did not return from Śoṇitapura, His family and friends passed the four months of the rainy season in extreme distress. When they finally heard from Nārada Muni how Aniruddha had been captured, a large army of the best Yādava warriors, under Kṛṣṇa’s protection, set off for Bāṇāsura’s capital and laid siege to it. Bāṇāsura fiercely opposed them with his own army of equal size. To help Bāṇāsura, Lord Śiva, accompanied by Kārtikeya and a horde of mystic sages, took up arms against Balarāma and Kṛṣṇa. Bāṇa began fighting against Sātyaki, and Bāṇa’s son fought against Sāmba. All the demigods assembled in the sky to witness the battle. With His arrows Lord Kṛṣṇa harassed the followers of Lord Śiva, and by putting Lord Śiva into a state of confusion, he was able to destroy Bāṇāsura’s army. Kārtikeya was so strongly beaten by Pradyumna that he fled the battlefield, while the remnants of Bāṇāsura’s army, harried by the blows of Lord Balarāma’s club, scattered in all directions.
Enraged to see his army’s destruction, Bāṇāsura rushed Kṛṣṇa to attack Him. But the Lord immediately killed Bāṇa’s chariot driver and broke his chariot and bow, and then He sounded His Pāñcajanya conchshell. Next Bāṇāsura’s mother, trying to save her son, appeared naked in front of Lord Kṛṣṇa, who averted His face to avoid looking at her. Seeing his chance, Bāṇa fled into his city.
After Lord Kṛṣṇa had thoroughly defeated the ghosts and hobgoblins fighting under Lord Śiva, the Śiva-jvara weapon - a personification of fever with three heads and three legs - approached Lord Kṛṣṇa to fight Him. Seeing the Śiva-jvara, Kṛṣṇa released His Viṣṇu-jvara. The Śiva-jvara was overwhelmed by the Viṣṇu-jvara; having nowhere else to turn for shelter, the Śiva-jvara began to address Lord Kṛṣṇa, glorifying Him and asking for mercy. Lord Kṛṣṇa was pleased with the Śiva-jvara, and after the Lord had promised him freedom from fear, the Śiva-jvara bowed down to Him and departed.
After bewildering Lord Śiva by making him yawn with a yawning weapon, Lord Kṛṣṇa proceeded to strike down Bāṇāsura’s army with His sword, club and arrows.
Next Bāṇāsura returned and attacked Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa again, wielding all kinds of weapons in his thousand hands. But Lord Kṛṣṇa took His Sudarśana disc and began cutting off all the demon’s arms. Lord Śiva approached Kṛṣṇa to pray for Bāṇāsura’s life, and when the Lord agreed to spare him, He spoke as follows to Śiva: “Bāṇāsura does not deserve to die, since he was born in the family of Prahlāda Mahārāja. I have severed all but four of Bāṇa’s arms just to destroy his false pride, and I have annihilated his army because they were a burden to the earth. Henceforward he will be free from old age and death, and remaining fearless in all circumstances, he will be one of your principal attendants.”
Assured he had nothing to fear, Bāṇāsura then offered his obeisances to Lord Kṛṣṇa and had Ūṣā and Aniruddha seated on their wedding chariot and brought before the Lord. Kṛṣṇa then set off for Dvārakā with Aniruddha and His bride leading the procession. When the newlyweds arrived at the Lord’s capital, they were honored by the citizens, the Lord’s relatives and the brāhmaṇas !
Actually it was Lord Krishna's desire to have this kind of lila with his greatest devotee Lord Shiva. Supreme personality of Godhead Lord Krishna was only playing and enjoying himself.

Shiva lost to krishna because that was a part of the plan of both gods (shiva and krishna). If there was not a plan of extinction of banasura ,lord shiva could have eleminated krishna in seconds. Lord shiva allowed krishna to extinct bana sura.if you dont know let me tell you once there was a real fight between vishnu and shiva ,shiva won the battle with the trisula in in the chest of vishnu.
You are also telling that narayana astra is supreior in front of pashupati astra ,let me tell you miss youtuber go and check out krishna never made his weapon so called sudreashana chakra on his own,it was created by lord shiva for the fight between gods and asuras.
This is perhaps the issue with Hindus... Calling Shiva or even Brahma as one dimensional is extremely foolish.. I am sure the text that you quoted from has not mentioned it this way.. This to my mind is not correct.. This story is again promoting Shaivism vs Vishnavas.. Which is what had plagued Hinduism.. If what you say is correct that without Krishna we can't achieve Moksha then what role does the Divine feminine play.. To create anything you need the thought and thereafter Shakti to bring it into fruutition... I really feel this could not be original composition.. If our temples were being destroyed what makes you so sure that our books have not been tampered with.. Pls share the source of this story..
Srimad Bhagavatam - Dashama Skanda. Its is an authoritative lila. Many great acharyas have acknowledged it. If something does equate with our mental framework of what is right or wrong, it doesn't make it "tampered" . That would seem like childish arrogance.
There has never been division in Sanatana dharma over scholarly debates between Vaishnavas and Shaivas. The divisions have occurred when mindless kings got involved and started slaughtering the scholars they dont support.
Debates have happened for generations and accommodating differences is the very essence of Sanatana dharma. Let's not force fit some modern understanding of unity on our beautiful culture. Instead, let's accept it, study more and educate the uneducated.

It never says anywhere that lord shiva is born out of lord vishnu. I am a devotee of lord krishna but this information is bogus. Comparing lord shiva to lord brahma is not right. Lord shiva is God of the gods for a reason.

Shiva didn't ask for mercy or help or request to krishna ,he fought for banasur and then krishna asked shiva the way to please him because this fight is a meaningless between the two...then shiva told him to use sleeping arrow on him and so that he can fall asleep ...Krishna did the same and shiva went to sleep .and Krishna was about to kill banasur..but shiva woke up and stopped him to do so and banasur feel asshamed ultimately...
Don't divert by depicting shiva as helpless and on mercy of krishna..tell the story the way it is..

Both are equal there are one in unity but divided by dharma n karma , one is death and one existence n bliss but both leads to the ultimate moksha when we leave the materialistic world , which is Maya created by lord Vishnu n ultimately destroyed by shiva that is age , disease n death , we cannot choose one demi god or another supreme , Purana were created in a way that both nature of powers can be taken and considered equal but some bigot fools clearly disrupted the unity by taking the difference in a literal format hence there was always a form of enemity btw the two followers including shakt community a practitioner of Santana everyone is equal n everyone is powerful in their own rights.

Then, it is stated that Lord Krsna engaged in battle directly with Lord Siva.. Within seconds, it is stated that Balarama was engaged directly with 'BANASURA'S COMMANDER IN CHIEF, KUMBHARND'.... Is it me, or can anyone and everyone see the error in this????????????
U should have keen sense of listening . 1. There are three commander in chief 1. Lord Shiva for his army 2. Khumbhand for banasuras army . And lord Kartikeya for deva army . Before asking question we need to be sure

I just unsubscribed to this channel. I know this channel glorifies Krishna as supreme, I am devotee too but at the same time you guys should not disrespect others feelings. No matter how much Pooja, yagna you do, no matter how many times you guys chant holy name of Krishna, still he doesn't like you if you hurt someone's feelings. I do believe in concept of adishakti then brahm, vishnu, maheshwar.. Because I feel its more logical. Just imagine the feeling of creation and destruction of something is completely different. To creat something you must be calm, divine, creative etc.. To vanish something you must be angry, emotionless, aggressive etc... Both are completely different....
I know God can do anything and he's supreme but but to understand the feeling of humans and animals you must possess same feelings.
Am quit active on social media. From my observations most of Shiva devotees respect and consider Shiva and vishnu as same... But but why the hell krishna devotees are acts completely different. They consider Krishna ji as supreme and that's completely OK. But they don't consider Shiva and other gods as same... Where do get this half knowledge..??

And Lord Krishna isn't considered as the supreme person because his devotees like him. N out of love, they are telling like this, no. It is because Lord Krishna is factually the super soul, he is worshipped by many living entities n Lord Shiva is also a devotee of Lord Krishna. In fact, he is one of the best among all. Though he lives in smashan (crematory), still his mind is always on the supreme personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna. Btw, those who are pure vaishnavas, give due respect to everyone. Literally nonsense they are doing. Just by reading bhagvatam and bagvat geeta you can't declare everything right. I know these two holy books are very important and it has life lessons, I completely respect that. At the same time one must read and understand 4 vedas, upanishad and other puranas. When you give judgment you must listen to both side stories then only one can eligible to give judgement.
In comment section one guy says Krishna ji is supreme,if you ask why then the answer is read bhagvatam and geeta.... Man really... To decide something... Read veadas, puranas, upanishad and all scriptures na...then answer....
And moreover A real leader or king is one who chosen by the people. Then only he can be a king. Even if you declare someone as a king then no use of it, people not gonna give full respect from their heart.

She says that if lord Vishnu protects someone no one can kill/defeat him and if lord Vishnu wants to defeat someone no one protect them. well in that case, tell me that why couldn't Lord Vishnu couldn't protect Daksha from Kaal bhairava. and why couldn't Lord Vishnu not be able to defeat or kill Garuda's enemy(Snakes head) when it had protection from lord Shiva.

Answering your first question.
Why Lord VIshnu couldn't protect Daksha from Kaal Bhairava. Reason is : There's a limit to every promise given and Lord Vishnu would always prefer to break his promise rather than saving Daksha, who in his arrogance, not just humiliated Shiva but also led Sati to jump into the fire. Daksha became the cause of separation of Shiva Sati, how could Vishnu still take his side and protect him, he was drown in his arrogance and had paved the path of his destruction himself.
Also, to protect Daksha, Vishnu would have to fight Veerbhadra and Bhadra Kaali. Such a fight would become a never ending fight and the clash of their weapons would produce energy tremendous enough to destroy the entire universe. So it was Vishnu's prudence and also his duty as the Preserver or Paalankarta of universe that he chose not to protect Daksha and leave him to his fate.
We must always remember that there is always a limit to every promise made, if the situations seem to turn ugly due to the promise one must always abandon it for the greater good.
The best example of this can be Mahabharat. Had Bhishma Pitamah chosen to break his promise, go against Dhritrashtra and Kauravas to stop them from doing injustice with Pandavas, had he saved the shame of Draupadi during game of dice, the great war could've been avoided. But alas he chose to stick to his vow and the results were disastrous. This is one of the most significant lessons of the epic.
So yes, Lord Vishnu was completely right in not keeping his promise to Daksha. His duty as the Preserver of universe was greater than his promise to Daksha.

Simply, it is said that when garuda attacked vasuki. Both fought hard but vasuki felt short and started losing then he asked for Lord Shiva help. Shiva came and warns Garuda to kill him with His trident. Immediately Lord Vishnu comes to His mount Garuda’s rescue. And then starts a war between Lord Vishnu and Shiva. After a long battle, Lord Vishnu goes near Shiva and holds Shiva's neck tightly with His hand. And causing bruise marks on Shiva's neck.
Shiva angry on this, pushes away Vishnu and in a fit of rage releases His trident. The Trident goes and pierces into Lord Vishnu’s heart. Ofcourse nothing happens to Vishnu or Shiva, as they are Para Brahman.
Then Shiva seeing that He has harmed Vishnu, immediately comes back to normalcy.
One mantra in Shiva's Ashtothram ( 108 mantras ) says
Om Shithi_kanttaya Namaha , means who has black neck, because of the bruise marks on His neck.
This mantra tells us that, the fight between Shiva and Vishnu because of Garuda and Vasuki, might have occurred. Fight should be always for a reason and otherwise peace should be maintained. Vishnu killing vasuki for what reason? when vasuki became helpful in auspicious activities like Samudra manthan.

I do not know wht is right and wrong. I found that the shiva is like nothing and like a normal person in Bhagwat puran. However, shiva is all above emotion and maya. How did he tire during war? The god who is the god of destruction, cannot even destroy the opposite army according to bhagwan puran. I m sorry but i don not believe this story. For me, Shiva is the god of the god. The mahadev.

I think still the suprem LORD is not present here, all these great sages are on behalf of the LORD. Because why would the LORD all powerful needs weapons no matter how big or impactful needs to attack some one, he could finish everything in the blink of an eye...or even no need to engage on anything.....surely everything has a great reason, which is why what so and what so happened and darkness and light present in the Universse. This video attempts to create a divide between the followers of lord Shiva and lord Krishna. Not a good idea, especially in these divisive times. Neither Shiva nor Narayan is complete alone. Narayan is like the positive charged proton while Brahma is the negative charged electron, bound to Narayan by atomic bond. This is demonstrated by Brahma residing on the Kamal pushp which grows from the navel of Vishnu. Shiva is the chargeless neutron, whose existence gives matter. So the atom is formed of this holy Trinity, hence we say that they reside in kan-kan, means in each atom. Do not show Shiva or Vishnu or Brahma is better then each other, they are one.

In the middle of the video there's a saying that lord shiva is born by lord brahma but I don't think so because everyone knows (who believe in this myth)that lord vishnu and lord krishna(vishnu)pray each other. And they taking each other as their aradhya.

@@PalviPrajapati-ok1mw I have seen that in many serials as well, I don't if you have learnt this from a serial or not, but what I do know, is that GOD is one who posses all opulence to the highest perfection, which is Krishna, according to Bhagavad-gītā, Because Krishna has the most beauty, he is the most merciful, he is the most famous, etc. Most acharayas give Krishna 64 qualities which he possesses to the highest perfection, but a few of those qualities are also found in demigods, and Lord Brahma and Shiva, but after that a few qualities, are only passed by the Narayana form of Krishna, and Krishna ultimately posses infinite qualities. Basically, you can worship Lord Shiva either for material desires or for being able to be getting Krishna prem, indirectly, but about the second thing you can ask from him, it is not guaranteed you will get by worshipping him.
The second thing is what makes people happy. (The easier method of getting Krishna prem, is to get the mercy of Radharani which is easier than getting Krishna's mercy, because She is even more merciful than Krishna.
