Today I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. There's good news and bad news. Also, we're continuing our brand new Minecraft world in 1.20 (Bedrock edition).
This is a calm Minecraft survival series. The playlist features chill Minecraft survival gameplay. We're beginning a long relaxing Minecraft playthrough.
This calm Minecraft with commentary series is being produced in 2023. It's chill Minecraft gameplay with commentary in Bedrock 1.20. A Nintendo Switch accompanies this relaxing Minecraft gameplay commentary.

A couple things I'd like to say.
Firstly, I watched episode 4 again right before watching episode 5 and I want to comment on how different you sound between them. These last 6 months have been hard, but you sound like you've found peace, clarity, and joy. It's encouraging and refreshing to hear.
Secondly, Bob Ross made hundreds of episodes that were largely the same. He didn't cut out the mundane, and that's one part of his charm. Another part is how he made painting accessible, which goes hand in hand with including the mundane. The accessibility of your style is why you are my favorite Minecraft UA-camr, and how I was able to enjoy Minecraft in the first place. I had no idea what I was doing until I found your solo series years ago on the basement. And I think any other UA-camr would have discouraged me quickly. I don't know any others who take the pace slow enough that I wouldn't have felt overwhelmed or inadequate. The third part of Bob Ross' charm is his personality, which your parallel has never wavered in you or your content.
I guess my point in all that is, (I can only speak for myself, but,) I would love to watch you sort your junk chests. Or do the experience grind. Because the mundane is part of it. And it honestly only contributes to two other Bob Rossy aspects of your content: making Minecraft accessible to all skill levels, and giving you space to be your kind self. Not to mention another Bob Ross aspect, the calming, relaxing, uplifting, low pressure atmosphere.
Ultimately, I will support you wherever you go and however you make your Minecraft content. ❤️ Can't wait to check out basementcraft.

Thank you for the encouragement, the kind words, and the commentary on the style and what works for you. Perhaps I'll show the part where I finally sort my chests. It has to happen either way, so it's easy enough for me to simply hit record and chat my way through the process. If others want to skip that episode, that's fine by me.

Hey Peter, we are here for whatever you bring. So if hobby videos cannot fit into your schedule, then don’t do it . Family first, we get it!
You could consider a binge-style Bob Ross series and upload a video every other day when you complete production of the entire season. You’d have to establish boundaries about how long you have to edit a video and all that so it isn’t stressful perfectionism.

There is a subtle difference in your play style on Basementcraft solo but its very subtle. You are correct your subtleness pairs well with Teds chaotic.
The Bob Ross character is 95% me, 5% character.
The Peter character on BasementCraft is probably 90% me, 10% character.
It's a good mix for me. Keeps it fun but not exhausting!
I try to use my empty spaces for practical purposes. Like a chute to a mine, or a bubble elevator, or secret passage.
I'm not that clever yet - but I like the idea

Correct, light cannot go through corners of diagonally placed block.... except if that block is like a stair or a slab, or some other not completely a block-sized block.
like a chest, right? Some are more obvious (like a fence post or an anvil), and some less so (like soul sand or path blocks)
