Great playing. I wish this style would stick around, instead of having a surge of popularity every 10 years or so, then dying out. I listened to Michael Hedges on repeat for years when I was a teenager, so this kind of playing really feels like home sometimes.

I don't know how to describe in how this song take me away... far far away.. it start with telling about past time, how great it is.. colourful of life, Lonely, down.. but then there was a spirit there to keep getting up and continue the journey.. realization..no matter what happens, life must go on.. and stay strong... i stumbled across this by accident, but omg did I stay for the show. I learnt my share of pickings when I learnt classical guitar as a kid and played until uni, so I feel I can appreciate the amount of hard work and dedication that needs to go into a performance like this (this style of playing wasn't even considered anything but "wrong" at that time, it is a very "young" technique (and I am quite old, tyvm) I am always stunned by it. but this piece and this performance take a spot at the top of what I have seen and heard in my life. just WOW
This is my most favorite arrangement in guitar history and im going to show my appreciation by learning it. Mark my words world. I will learn this master piece

I consider myself a music something of connoisseur of music ( humbly). I listen to multiple languages in multiple styles including various country’s classical music and I wanna hit myself over the head for not finding this fucking master piece. His dexterity to pull off such complicated fingerstyles is insane. And he’s somehow mixed percussion into acoustic guitar…Jesus. I never knew an acoustic guitar could even sound like this. Dude just elevated an instrument that’s been played for decades of not centuries by hundreds of thousands of people to a whole damn new level. It’s like a new dimension
